Chapter 22

My mouth dropped. “A week.. and then you’re gone?” I asked him in a surprised tone.

“Dae...” He looked down and began to play with his fingers.

For a few minutes, there was an awkward silence. He sat there playing with his fingers while I was lying on my bed, going insane in my mind. “How can it only be a week?! There has to be more time... what will we do in such short time?” I let out a sigh which surprised Junhyung as well as me.

He looked at me and smiled. “I’m really going to miss you Jiyeon.” With those words, the atmosphere went straight back to a gloomy feeling.

I wanted to keep him with me for the remaining time, but I knew it would be selfish of me. “Junhyung, you should get going before your members get worried.” Saying those words felt as if someone was shooting me multiple times. I wished that I never said anything.

He looked up and nodded. “I’ll text you when I’m at the dorm.” He got up and walked over towards me. He pulled me off the bed and hugged me. I was about to move out, but he pulled me in and hugged me longer. When he finally released me, he gazed into my eyes. He leaned forward and kissed my forehead. With that, he left the room.

I fell back onto my bed after he left and let out a huge sigh. “Omo... what am I going to do?” I heard the door open a little and saw Hyomin was peeking into the room.

“Can I come in? Or are you busy?” She asked.

“Come in.” When she sat on her bed I grabbed her hand. “Hyomin! Junhyung is leaving in 1 week, what will I do?”

Hyomin let out a sigh. "I really should get paid for this." She looked straight in my eyes. "The most you can do is wish him and B2ST luck and support them. There's really no other option."

I closed my eyes. "Those were the words I didn't want to admit to..." I slowly laid back down. "I'm really going to miss him Hyominnie." After laying down for a while I received Junhyung's text message.

“Jiyeon! In a few seconds check your messenger. It’s urgent!” I grabbed my laptop. I was signed on MSN, as always. In 5 to 10 seconds, a chat window popped up asking for permission to video chat. I clicked accept and waited for it to load.

When the screen finished loading, a hand was covering the view. “Bwoh, what is this?” I said silently. When his hand moved off the camera, I saw his face.

“Annyeong!” he said and smiled his dorky smile.

I couldn’t help, but laugh. “Ah, jjinja... was this all? This was what was so urgent?” I laughed again. “Babo!”

He looked at me hurt. “That was quite mean.” Then, there was silence for a few seconds. He just looked in my eyes. “Whenever I look at you, I feel like I fall in love all over again.”

My cheeks turned red from the embarrassment. “Cheesy pick up lines?” I smiled, “Such a kid.” I giggled. He just kept staring at me through the webcam.

He let out a sigh this time. “I think I’ll really miss you. But, there is a way we can still see each other..”

I slightly tilted my head. “Jjinja? Gojitmal! How?” How was it possible we could still see each other while he was in Japan?

He smirked. “Babo! How do you think we are seeing each other right now?” He smiled. “After working, I can webcam you.”

It felt as if a ton of bricks fell on top of me. “Ah, jjinja... I forgot we had technology in the world.” I hit my head multiple times. “Baboya!”

“Yah!” I heard Junhyung scream through the webcam. “Don’t hurt yourself.”

After a few hours of chatting we both said good night. I laid on my bed with a huge smile on my face. “Jjinja... I’m so lucky!” I couldn’t help but squeal when the thought of Junhyung popped into my head.

That night, it was the night I finally really thought about Junhyung. After thinking long and hard, I couldn't think of any way to describe him. Junhyung was someone who was indescribable to me. He had too many positives about him. It seemed as if there were no characteristics for it. Then, I started to think about my past with him. Before, I used to believe he was a ghost of my past, but lately... it seems as if he is the sun and I was a planet orbiting around.

The days passed by quickly. Before I knew it, T-ara was finished promoting 'Yayaya' and 'Why Are You Being Like This' and B2ST was done promoting as well. With the promotions done, there was more time for me and Junhyung to hang out. Each night, Junhyung called me or video chatted. Often we spoke of trivial things and joked around.

Soon it was the day before Cube's big party. I was sitting with Junhyung inside of a coffee shop. His arm was placed about my shoulders. He continued to pull me closer and looked at other costumers.

"A week passed by too quickly, don't you think?" He began to look out the window, watching cars pass by and people walking pass us. He kept staring outside the window for minutes.

I decided to break the silence. "Oppa, I have to go. I'm going to go shopping for a dress with Hyomin. I'll talk to you later?"

He looked at me and smiled. "Dae. Have fun." He pulled my head close to him and kissed my head.

I couldn't help but blush. I got from the chair and left the shop. When I passed by the window Junhyung was looking out of, I jumped up and down waving to him. He smirked at me and waved back.

I continued waking down the street when I got a phone call. It's from Hyomin. "She's probably going to ask where I am." I picked it up and heard Hyomin speak immediately.

"Jiyeon! Mianhae, Manager Kim just booked me and event at the last minute. Mianhae! Enjoy shopping."

She hung up. My face began to grow a frown. "Ah! Jiljnja, Manager Kim!" I messed up my hair.

I felt something on my shoulder. "Is something wrong, Jiyeon?" This person's voice sounded deep and husky.

"Who is he?"
