Year 2004~ (Past)

A 9 year old Myungsoo ran towards the park, his smile widened as he saw the figure sitting on the swing, he called out her name,  she turned around giving him an eye smile, she got off and sat at the bench, he followed and they both faced each other, "Myungsoo oppa, why did you call me here?" his smile suddenly turned into a frown, "Minyoung-ah ... I need to go to america for a while..." he looked down, not wanting to look into her eyes, she kept quiet for a few seconds "how long is a while?" he took a deep breath before answering "9 years..." he finally had the courage to look up into her eyes, at that moment he could feel his heart break, her eyes were filled with tears, she blinked and a teardrop rolled down from each eye, he cupped her face and wiped her tears with his thumbs, "Minyoung-ah I promised you that i'd always be there for you, and im going to keep that promise, i also promise you that i'll be back soon okay?" she looked down at the ground, he took her chin and gently pushed her to look up at him, he lifted up his pinky, she looked at the pinky, and interwined it with hers, he looked at her hand and noticed a burnt mark, his eyes suddenly fllled with worry, "Minyoung what happened?" she quickly let go of his hand and smiled "Nothing" "Minyoung, tell me the truth" "It's nothing, don't worry" she gave him a reasurring smile, he shot her a glare, she pouted and sighed in defeat "Fine, fine, i was told to clean up the fire place, and accidently got burnt" he looked at her with flames shooting out of his eyes "when i comeback from america, im going to take you away from those people, okay?" she smiled "Okay"

(Present) Year 2013~
Minyoung woke up from her dream/flashback she wiped her tears and got up to get a glass of water.
