Kibum's eyes clenched shut as Manager hyung told him the news of Jonghyun. He cursed himself for getting into a fight with the singer earlier that day and he cursed him for being so reckless in the first place. A car crash of all things. Key tried to lull away his oncoming tears. "God must really love idols; only coming away with minor injuries after hitting the railing like that." He thought this, but he knew it wasn't a time for joking. He checked his watch as Manager began specifying the details and the location of the hospital they were taking him to. 2:07; he also cursed his long- schedule that needed him at the recording studio in thirty minutes. From the dorm, all the way to Gangnam and back to the studio in thirty minutes was just not going to cut it time wise.

"We'll be hear the rest of the day until visiting hours close, so be sure to drop by before then." Manager said; his tone sounded a mix of worry and exhaustion; as was everyone else's in this business.

"Yes, I have one more thing on my schedule and then I will be over as quickly as I can." Key replied.

"Oh, and Kibum;" Manager started abruptly.

"Yes?"

"There is one more thing; Jonghyun he; he's been asking for you since we got him to the hospital. They've put him on pain meds but even then he's still talking in his sleep. I think you should be with him during this. The doctors say that even with minor injuries, there will be many weeks of healing for the boy." Manager said.

Suddenly the pain in Key's chest grew about 6x what it was at the beginning of the call. 

He said his goodbye's to Manager hyung and hung up the phone; laying his, now, heavy head back on the arm of the sofa; his forearm covering the light from his tear stricken eyes.
