22 years later...

"Get your out here and clean your mess up!" ~ Jaehwa

"I'm with Kiseop!" ~ Daehyun

"... Fine, do it later." ~ Jaehwa

-Daehyun's POV-

"Are you going to come to town again?" ~ Daehyun

"Hopefully, and I might even bring a friend, I think you'll like her." ~ Kiseop

"Yah! I'm not suppose to be with a human female." ~ Daehyun

"Well you can't live your life alone forever." ~ Kiseop

After a few minutes, Kiseop helps Daehyun clean up his mess.

"Oppa!" ~ Jaehwa

"Hey." ~ Kiseop

"You know you don't have to help, it's Daehyun's mess." ~ Jaehwa

" Yeah i know but I want to, I want to stay here longer." ~ Kiseop

I saw Jaehwa smile and kicked her. 

"Yah!" ~ Jaehwa

"Don't kick your sister!" ~ Kiseop

"My foot slipped."  Daehyun said srugging his shoulders

"Suree." ~ Jaehwa & Kiseop said together

< A few minutes later.. Kiseop leaves > 

 

< Meanwhile at Admiral's house, Maeri was sleeping. >

-Third POV-

"Maeri-ah, wake up." ~ Admiral

"... Andwae..." ~ Maeri

"We have a guest." ~ Admiral

"... Wae?" ~ Maeri

"Cause he is my aqquintance." ~ Admiral

" But I'd rather sleep..." ~ Maeri

Kiseop walks in. 

"Hello, Admiral.  Is she still not up." ~ Kiseop

"Ani, i'm not so please can you  get out." ~ Maeri

 Insted of leaving Kiseop decides to  jump on her bed. So Maeri rolled over to the other side of her bed and stood up before Kiseop could squish her. 

"I'm up, can you leave now?" ~ Maeri

"Arrasuh, arrasuh." ~ Kiseop

They both leave, leaving Maeri alone.

-Maeri's POV-

I walked over to the door and locked it. Then I went back to sleep. I heard banging on the door. So I got up and opened it.

"I was just kidding. I'll get changed now." ~ Maeri

Kiseop eyed me before he left. It's so early in the morning though. But I got ready for the day anyway and wore this.

I walked out to the guest room and saw the guest my father had told me about.

"This is my daughter, Park Maeri. Maeri, this is general Hoon." ~ Admiral

"Nice to meet you." ~ General Hoon

I respectfully bowed and sat down by my father. Kiseop was next to me. As the General and my father were talking, I just kept looking at the General and his men. There is a dark aura around them, and General Hoon's eyes show no sincerity. 

"May I be excused?" ~ Maeri

"Certainly, go eat." ~ Admiral

Kiseop decided to follow me. 

"What's wrong?" ~ Kiseop

"General Hoon." ~ Maeri

"What about him?" ~ Kiseop

"There's something strange about him,  i can't quite put my finger on it though." ~ Maeri

 

< Back at the Jung family house. >

"You make it so obvious." ~ Daehyun

"Make what obvious?" ~ Jaehwa

" The fact that you like Kiseop." ~ Daehyun

"So what?" ~ Jaehwa

"You're not even going to  deny it?" ~ Daehyun

"Why should I?" ~ Jaehwa

" Because you know who we are and what you could do to him" ~ Daehyun

" Yeah but so dose kiseop, plus we've never hurt him before" ~ Jaehwa

" Fine...We should get some fresh air and meet up with Kiseop then." ~ Daehyun

"Jincha?!" ~ Jaehwa

 

An hour later...

Daehyun and Jaehwa  met up with  Kiseop who had brought Maeri with him.

"Who's this?" ~ Daehyun & Jaehwa

"She's Maeri. The  admiral's daughter." ~ Kiseop

Maeri bowed but she could see something was different about the siblings. 

"Oppa!" ~ Jaehwa

Jaehwa becomes a little bit jealous and locks arms with Kiseop.

"What's wrong?" ~ Kiseop asked confused

"Oppa! I saw a snake, you know how much I hate them." ~ Jaehwa pouted

Maeri began to feel out of place.....

"Mianhe, but I have to go." ~ Maeri

Maeri bowed and began to walk off.

"Well, let me you , since we didn't have time to talk." ~ Daehyun

Daehyun walked up to Maeri and pushed her slightly foward.

"There's no need." ~ Maeri began to say but was interupted by Daehyun

"If you feel uncomfortable, just think of me as a body guard. I just need to get away from those two lovebirds." ~ Daehyun chuckled to himself

Maeri was confused about him, Kiseop had never mentioned these two people before. Daehyun noticed the confused look on her face.

"What's wrong?" ~ Daehyun

"... Ani, it's nothing." ~ Maeri

Maeri looks away from his gaze. 

< Back to where Jaehwa and Kiseop were at >

"Minhae, I didn't mean to make her uncomfortable." ~ Jaehwa

"It's ok, I don't think that's why she left." ~ Kiseop

"What do you mean by that?" ~ Jaehwa

"What I mean is that she's jincha good at feeling when something is not right or if theres something not being said." ~ Kiseop

"Ahh, so she dosen't know about what we are but she knew we aren't normal, is that what your saying?" ~Jaehwa

"Dae." ~ Kiseop

< On the way to the Admiral's house >

As Maeri was walking with Daehyun, she stopped suddenly.

"Is something wrong?" ~ Daehyun

-Maeri's POV-

"Run." ~ Maeri

"Wae?" ~ Daehyun

There was no time for explainations. I grabbed his hand and ran. We were surrounded before we even took 5 steps.

"Who are these people?" ~ Daehyun

I grabbed my sword that was slung behind my back.

"Ninjas." ~ Maeri

"What? Did I hear you correctly?" ~ Daehyun

"Ninjas. Illusions." ~ Maeri

"What do you mea-" ~ Daehyun

"Watch out!" ~ Maeri

I slashed the ninja before it got near Daehyun. It disintergrated into thin air.

"We're trapped in an illusion. That means there is one real person here. Be careful, even if they are illusions, they can still hurt you." ~ Maeri

I got rid of at least 12 but they keept reappearing. I was pulled away by Daehyun, then I felt a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I turned to where Daehyun was.

"I found you." ~ Daehyun

He kicked the ninja 20 feet into the air and killed him, along with the rest of the illusions.

"Gwenchana? You got hurt, if only I was quicker." ~ Daehyun

"I'm fine." ~ Maeri

"Let me see." ~ Daehyun

"I said I'm fine. Go home." ~ Maeri

I walked off. I got out my phone and called my father.

"Appa, go down to the basement and wait for me, we need to talk." ~ Maeri

I hung up.

< Back to Jaehwa & Kiseop >

"Kiseop!" ~ Daehyun

They heard Daehyun from far away.

"What?" ~ Kiseop

Daehyun ran up to them.

"Do you guys know anyone that would go after you guys by any chance?" ~ Daehyun

"Ani." ~ Jaehwa & Kiseop

"Wae? Did something happen?" ~ Kiseop

"Maeri got hurt." ~ Daehyun

Kiseop ran away trying to find Maeri, Jaehwa and Daehyun followed behind him . When they finally found Maeri. She was limping and holding her shoulder.

"Maeri-ah!" ~ Daehyun

"You should go to the hospital! You're losing a lot of blood!" ~ Kiseop

"Bikyeo..." ~ Maeri

"Jaebal." ~ Kiseop

Jaehwa hit her at her pressure points causing her to faint. Daehyun caught her in his arms.

"Yah! What did you do to her?" ~ Daehyun

"I did it to help her, now take her to the hospital before she gets worse. Me and Kiseop will stay behind to investigate." ~ Jaehwa

< Daehyun leaves carrying Maeri in his arms >

< While Kiseop and Jaehwa were investigating they heard a noise up ahead >

- Kiseop's POV -

We ran to see what the noise was, as we approached I noticed a familiar  face, it was General Hoon, I was about to walk up to him when Jaehwa stopped me.

"Don't move." ~ Jaehwa

" Wae? It's General Hoon." ~ Kiseop

" I don't care who it is or how you know them, DON'T MOVE!" ~Jaehwa

At that moment General Hoon and his men turned around to see what that noise was and that's when I saw what they were doing, they were killing people, but not just any people, they were killing the police.

"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" ~Kiseop

"Yeah.. Now we fight." ~Jaehwa

I saw Jaehwa smile when she said that, I'm not sure if I was scared by the fact that she wanted to hurt people or if I liked the fact that she was protecting people the way she was born to. 

In a matter of 5 minutes almost, if not, everyone was either wounded or dead. General Hoon was the only one that managed to escape.

"Hey, are you guys alright." ~ Jaehwa 

"Y-Yeah, w-were fine." ~ Said one of the 2 remaining policemen alive

"Do you guys know why General Hoon attacked you ?" ~ Kiseop

"We found out  he was a murderer and a thief and we tried to arrest him, but he wouldn't go willingly, he instead had his men kill 5 of my men in front of me saying we were liars and were against the government." ~ Said the other policeman

After careful investigation of what just occurd, me and Jaehwa decided to check on Maeri and see Daehyun before we go to the Admiral and tell him what has happened.

< At the hospital >

- Maeri's POV -

I awoke at the hospital half aware of what had happened.

"Oh thank goodness you're awake." ~ Daehyun

"Y-yeah. I would like to get out of this hospital if you dont mind." ~ Maeri 

I got out of bed and began to get my shoes on as I looked at a confused Daehyun.

"But you haven't been discharged yet." ~ Daehyun

"I know but I have to get out of this hospital, I really don't like them." ~ Maeri

"Ahh.. dae lets go then." ~ Daehyun

 Yes! We were about to exit the hospital when we ran into Kiseop and Jaehwa.

"Hey, how is she?" ~ Kiseop said to Daehyun between taking breaths, I guess they ran all the way here

"Fine now, what's wrong?" ~  Daehyun

"General Hoon just killed 5 policeman." ~ Jaehwa

"WHAT?!" ~ Daehyun and Maeri said at the same time

"We'll tell you about it in a minute, but first lets find a more private place to talk." ~ Kiseop

we decided to go to a monk's house.

< Back at the monk's house the 4 were drinking soju and talking >

- Jaehwa's POV -

While the boys continued to talk about the incident I looked over to Maeri who had fallen asleep. I guess she's not a heavy drinker. I thought to myself with a giggle.

"Hey, Daehyun oppa, why don't you take Maeri upstairs." ~ Jaehwa

"Ani hyung, I'll do it." ~ Kiseop

And much to my dislike Kiseop began to pick Maeri up bridal style.

- Maeri's POV -

I felt someone's arms around me and woke up immediately and looked at the person holding me.

"What are you doing?" ~ Maeri

"Taking you're drunk to bed." ~ Kiseop

At that  very moment I remembered that I had called my father earlier.

"Ani, I have to go to my father, he's waiting for me." ~ Maeri

Before Kiseop or anyone could say anything, I jumped out of Kiseop's arms and ran out the door.

A few minutes later after coming back to their senses, the others ran after her.

< At the Admiral's house >

- Admiral's POV -

After recieving that destressing call from my daughter I went to the basement like she said hoping everything was alright.

20 minutes go by.......

Where is she, she told to come down here like 15 minutes ago.

After another 5 minutes go by....

I heard footsteeps upstairs, it must be Maeri, finally.

< General Hoon's hideout 10 minutes beforehand  >

- General Hoon's POV -

Damn it, I can't belive they saw me, I hope my men killed them or else my position might be at risk.

At that moment one of the ninja's from the attack  on Maeri runs up to General Hoon.

"Sir, we have a problem" ~ Ninja

"Which is.." ~ General Hoon

"We attacked the daughter like you said but she was with someone very strong, so they got away." ~ Ninja

"WHAT?!" ~ General Hoon

" Minhae, sir." ~ Ninja

"Do you think she knows your one of mine?" ~ General Hoon

"I think so, I believe she was also eyeing me early when we met her." ~ Ninja

"Arrasuh, I'll go see my old friend the Admiral." ~ General Hoon

Why can't my men do what I ask, why do they anger me to much?

General turns back and slices the Ninja's neck,  watching his Ninja slowly die with blood gushing from his neck staining the gound beneath him and once the Ninja fallen to that now cherry colored ground the General leaves satisfied of what he's done.

< The General arrives at the Admiral's house >

Mmm I wonder where the Admiral is......

General Hoon notices the basement door is open and decides to go down into the basement.

- Admiral's POV -

"Maeri is that you? ....What did you want to tell me?"  ~ The Admiral says with great concern in his voice

"It's me, General Hoon." ~ General Hoon

"Ahh, I see. What brings you here?" ~ The  Admiral say's with relief

"Actually, I came here to talk to you about your daughter, Maeri." ~ General Hoon

"Jincha?Wae?" ~ Admiral

"It appears that she and another person has killed one of ninja- I mean my men." ~ General Hoon

"My daughter would never, unless it was for a good reason, besides why would one of my trusted generals have ninjas. NInjas are only used by people who want to assassinate others." ~ Admiral

"I said one of my SOLDIERS!" ~ General Hoon yells with great anger

< Meanwhile Maeri arrives at her house and runs to the basement >

" Appa, Min-" ~ Maeri

Before Maeri can finish her sentence she sees the worst thing any daugher should never have to see.

"A- APPA!" ~ Maeri

- General Hoons POV seconds earlier as Maeri is comming down the stairs - 

Oh no he's found out what I've done, now I'll be demoted and my life will be over, I'll never get absolute power this way..... unless ( General Hoon smirks to himself ) ....

General Hoon decides to take out his sword and stabbed the Admiral...  The Admiral then puts a now red stained hand on the General.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" ~ The Admiral

"I want your power and position and this is the only way to get it, maybe I'll see you on the other side one day." ~ General Hoon says with no remorce and a smirk on his face, then he takes the Admiral's bloody hand off his shoulder and watches the Admiral slowly fall to the cold cemented ground holding the sword that was inside him....

Maeri runs down the rest of the stairs crying and feeling helpless. She is unaware if her father is going to live or die all she knows is that  she can't take the blade out or he will definitely die...  so all Maeri can do is hold the sword in place, while her father coughs up blood onto her.......
