His mother's voice continued, from the same spot at the doorway as he could deduce from the unchanging volume of her voice.   "Honestly, I don't want to force you into a marriage you despise,..."   'But?' He continued the sentence mentally, groaning to himself at the predictableness of his mother's speech pattern.   "But your grandmother seems to really like her. I've never seen her laughing that much ever since...ever since your father died." Her voice grew smaller towards the end. Siwan could imagine she was holding back the tears at the uninvited memories she had always kept close to her heart. At that moment, he wanted to jump off his bed and run to hug her tightly, and comfort her, tell her that it's alright even if her husband is no longer by her side, because he wouldn't leave her, and he would make her happy, something her own beloved husband never quite succeeded because of all the damn business. He knew he's treading towards the same path as him. His life had been set from the day he was born as their only child. But he's determined to find a way to somehow break the fate and bring a much needed change into their life. Tell Kwanghee to accompany you if he's still around."   "Is she going to be alright?" She kept her eyes on the girl behind the glass window, laying unconsciously but looking calm as ever, like she was in a deep peaceful sleep.   "She will. She just needs her rest." He stated, firmly as she nodded despite knowing he wasn't looking.   "If you need any help..."   "Can you come visit her sometimes and keep her company?" She was surprised at his aggressiveness to actually ask for her help unlike the Heechul she knew who's too prideful to even accept when offered. The doctor must've said something really bad that made him changed in this way.   "I will come everyday, even if I'm busy with work, I'll somehow find a time. Don't you worry." She wanted to ask what really happened. She was dying of curiosity. But she knew that Heechul would only say what he wanted to say, when he wanted to say it.
