BEGINNINGS

(Perhaps that was how it had all begun.)

Sungyeol sauntered along, half-heartedly listening to Woohyun’s incessant chatter. Beside him, Hoya kept pace, silently brooding. Today was ordinary, like any other, yet somehow, Sungyeol felt that familiar discomfort that always preceded something. What exactly, he didn’t know.

Restless, he allowed his eyes to wander, subconsciously registering the happenings around him. Sungyeol was almost convinced his premonitions were fooling him when he saw it – or rather, her.

“That’s Bae Suzy.” Woohyun’s voice startled him. “She’s pretty popular–“

Sungyeol stopped listening. He’d been right after all; there was something – something he wanted to have.

And that something was Bae Suzy.

Dear Readers,

This story was something that came to me at a spur of a moment. I believe it will be rather dark, a style of writing I have never really delved into. Do pardon anything that may fall short of expectations. 

The drabble written above may surprise you since I've made it rather clear that this will be a story about Myungsoo and Suzy. Well, all I can say is read on and it'll all make sense in the end. It's a bit of a spoiler though, in my view. 

I suppose this story is for anyone who cares to read it:

To those who've been used, to those who've been scarred, to those who've been broken - this story is for you. And to everyone else, I hope you will never have to experience anything like this.

I'm a little irked by the description above so I might decide to tweak it slightly when I've gotten part of the plot out.
