It Hurts - 2NE1

Narrator’s P.O.V:
The scrumptious dinner was long over, and the six of you were upstairs in one of the large rooms. Your mom was resting from the hard effort she used in order to prepare the feast.
You suddenly spoke up, “I’m curious about something.” Gongchan looked at you with a ‘go ahead’ expression. “You all have to answer though, araso?” You smiled.
Hesitantly, they all nodded. You gave them a soft grin. “Recently, I’ve been noticing that Oppas are getting stranger… I was just curious to know about your past.” You said shyly.
The talk about their past caught B1A4 off guard a little. “Our… past?” CNU asked, his voice barely audible. You saw their blank expressions and became a little nervous. “Actually, you know what? Just forget I ever said anything.” You commented quickly, trying to think of another topic to think of.
“No, you’re right. I bet you’re curious too and it’d be good to let it off our chests.” Sandeul gave you a wry smile. “…We shouldn’t tell anyone else about this though. This is private stuff.” Jinyoung turned his head away without saying anything more. Baro nodded slowly.
You softened, “Of course.” It made you happy that they trusted you so much since they would tell you about their hurtful pasts. No one said anything until Gongchan spoke up. “Maknae first.” He sighed and began. You listened intently.
Gongchan’s older brother was a role model to Gongchan ever since he was a child. He was social, had good looks, was smart, and he was a kingka. Naturally, Gongchan looked up to him and relied greatly on him. Gongchan adored him, and he thought that his hyung adored him too… until his brother’s true colours broke through.
“One day, dad and mom weren’t home, and my brother tried to deliberately push me off of the stairs. Since I was so young, his plan worked and tumbled down. He told me that he hated me as I was crying… He told me to get away from the house and never come back because he never wanted to see m-my worthless self ever again—“ Gongchan fake laughed on the last word as you and the other boys stared at him in shock.
He started laughing and put his head down, but when he raised his head up, his laughs immediately morphed into cries. His tears hit the wooden floors quickly. Drip, drip, drip. It was the most heartbreaking scene you had ever experienced.
Gongchan covered his hands over his face and sobbed. You felt a pain in your chest. You didn’t want to see your happy and hyper maknae like this. Not today, not ever.
You scooted over to him and took his hands off of his face. You carefully rested his head on his shoulder and patted his back. “Oppa, look at it this way. Suffering through all of that eventually guided you to me and the other Oppas. We all care for you and love you.” You murmured quietly as Gongchan stopped hiccupping and soon quieted down. Baro—to your surprise—patted his back soothingly.
After Gongchan calmed down, it was Baro’s turn. Baro shyly cowered away from the intense and serious stares coming from the five of you. “Hajima…” He said in his normal voice, but you heard him say it a little cutely. *Kya, that’s so cute.* You squealed in your head but put on a blank poker face.
Baro cleared his throat. “My past is nothing special. My mom died of leukemia, and I didn’t know who the hell my father was. He had secretly ran off with all my mom’s profits and left from my life when I was small. She suffered because of him greatly. I had to pay for the hospital bills with my college tuition my mom saved up on. I bore a big resentment to my father because of the burden and stress he gave my mom, and I still do today.” You gazed at Baro, *That’s kind of like my situation…*
“My mom used to love stars, though. She used to tell me that each one contained all her love for me. At that time, I thought that her words were so cheesy… But now I long to hear them again.” Baro stared dreamily as he visualized his mom smiling at him again. He suddenly snapped out of it and noticed the stares again. Baro straightened himself up, “Sorry. I got carried away.”
“Don’t be.” You said, smiling sweetly at him. “Everyone has something or someone that they want.” You stared out the window. *Yeah, like you.* Baro thought, but he quickly erased that from his mind.
Next was Sandeul’s story. His mother died just like Baro’s mom, but instead, she died in a heart transplant surgery. The surgery failed. She had told Sandeul that he had to be happy and smile for her, always. That’s why Sandeul was always smiling and positive, in order to keep his promise to his lost mother. After spending all their money on the hospital bills, Sandeul’s father turned to robbery and sold their things for money to keep Sandeul alive. The last meal his father made him before he went to jail for robbery was his amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. Sandeul remembered how his father used to make it, so he usually makes it for breakfast.
Sandeul was getting watery eyed as he remembered his parents and what they sacrificed for him. You gave his hand a light, reassuring squeeze and he gratefully smiled at you.
Now there were only two more that had to tell their story (excluding you): CNU and Jinyoung.

By the way, the votes are in! 1rst place for the next fanfiction characters was Boyfriend, 2nd was I don't really care which group it is, and 3rd was Block B! I could change the characters last moment, so you'll have to wait and see!
Also, BLOCK B'S COMEBACK ON THE 23RD! Can't wait! Just saw the teaser and B-Bomb Oppa (my current bias) looks adorbs! ^^
Not really keen on Zico's dreads though... n.n;; I remember U-Kiss' Dongho having dreads. He looks better NOW. xD
