Description

Prompt: G-Dragon, Korea's brightest star finally burns out at the height of his career, joining the infamous "27 club". This story is told from Seunghyun's POV as he looks back on their lives and love, remembering Jiyong's reckless, self-destructive spiral down into somebody unrecognizable to even Jiyong himself.

Chapter 1: I think, you just broke my heart. This is so agonizingly beautiful. It's one of the things that you want to withdraw from but simply cannot. It's so cold and stark and real, it's simply breathtaking. It's like taking a normal color picture that's usual perceived as happy and dipping it in greyscale. It's darkling and so not superfluous, it's striking really. That was a bit long. I do apologize.

I wanna say a big THANK YOU! for taking my prompt ;~~^~~; when I knew you were the one writing it I was immensely relieved *embarrassed* 'cos uhh I'd checked out your other fics so I knew this would be in safe, capable hands :D I really like your style of angsty fics, it's detached but there's also this underlying pulse of grief and pain that makes it beautifully heartbreaking.

Totally loving the first chapter, I can feel the tears gathering behind my lids already.
