On Rainy Days Like Today
Description
I can only remember you and the dreams we shared, 'til the day repeats over and over. The day you decided to leave me behind, even when you promised to be my strength. I should have been your strength.
After being diagnosed with a throat cancer, Yoseob was forced to have the decision of never singing again and ending his life in misery, or getting the surgery that could save his life and his dreams, or go terribly wrong and end his life. Frightened, Yoseob delays the surgery as best he can, giving petty excuses, and his parents (with a fear equal to his) agree with everything that comes their way.
A week after the diagnostic, Yoseob meets an aspiring trainee, who sparks a nerve when he realizes how far in her career she's getting; while he's being left for dead.
Soo Yeon, slowly becomes someone he yearns to meet and talk with everyday, because with her, Yoseob can think clearly; for some reason, when she's there, he gains confidence and isn't the scared puppy he would usually be.
However, one day, Yoseob had waited hours in the harsh winter conditions- bitter cold and loneliness- for no one to arrive beside him. Angered, disappointed, heartbroken, and scared... Yoseob leaves holding back tears and playing with the gift he prepared for Soo Yeon in his pockets.

비가 오는 날엔 나를 찾아와

밤을 새워 괴롭히다

서서히 조금씩 그쳐가겠지
Slowly, little by little, you will stop as well
"Yoseob hyung," Dongwoon pat his elder on the shoulder, "You look sad. Are you ok?"
Junhyung took this oportunity to , "What, are you crying? It's just a song!"
"W-well," Yoseob bit his lower lip, trying to figure out what to say next.
"Junhyung," Beastly leader Doojoon spoke up for Yoseob, "It's raining too, it's not really a happy day exactly. It's a good thing he's so into the song though! Makes recording it easier."
Hyunseung nodded. "I definitely feel a bit gloomy after reading this song," Hyunseung bluntly put it, "I hope the fans can get our emotions from this song..."
"It means a lot to me," Yoseob blankly stared at the lyrics sheet in front of him, "The lyrics mean a lot to me. I know they'll understand, because when it rains, the sky is crying for someone."
"You're..." Junhyung stared at Yoseob, "Unusually deep today, did something happen?"
"Just... uh... memories," Yoseob dismissed the subject, trying to make it obvious that he didn't want to talk about it. Walking towards the recording room, he blankly stared ahead of him, letting his feet do the walking as he followed his manager in.
"I'm here now, Soo Yeon," Yoseob's voice almost cracked as he started to cry again, "This is what we've always wanted."
