As I was cooking dinner, my doorbell ringed. I opened up my door to find no other then Jinki,my boyfriend. He gave me a hug and kiss as he entered my house.

He saw I was cooking fried chicken for dinner and his eyes lite up.

“Can I stay for dinner? PLEASE?”

I laughed at him and told him that he could stay, but he could not help me cook. I was afraid he would eat it before it was all done.

He agreed and went to my living room to watch tv.

While cooking some of the chicken, the best thing popped in my mind.

I decided to show Jinki how much I love him by making a meal he would never forget.

I took out a bowl and placed some dry seasonings in it. Paprika, Chili powder, Dried ghost pepper flakes I crushed up finely, and hot wing seasoning.

On a piece of chicken, I took a new clean paintbrush and made a heart of hot sauce on the biggest piece of fried chicken I made. I put a nice thick layer on it, then sprinkle a nice layer of my spice on it and lightly shake the chicken causing the excess to fall off. I place it on a separate plate for him. I also put fries and a macaroni and the plate and put in his seat. I also make up a plate of food for me and I put away any evidence of my plan away.

“Jinki! Dinner ti-“ I didn’t have to finish because he was already in his seat.

He saw his chicken heart and then looked at me.

“It’s a heart made up of Ketchup and some dry seasoning on top of it.” I told him trying to keep a straight face. He smiled and gave me a kiss “I love you” he said.

I motioned for him to try it. He took a big bite of the seasoning and chicken. Right away his face turned red and I bursted out laughing.

He immediately spit it out and headed to my refrigerator. He took my milk and chugged it straight from the carton.

We both calmed down after a few minutes and Jinki was mad. No he was FURIOUS.

“YA! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME????? AND THE PERECIOUS CHICKEN??? WHAT WAS IN THAT SESONING??”

“oh, just some hot sauce, crushed ghost peppers,  paprika, Chili powder, and hot wing seasoning.”

“WHY???”

“Because my love for you is hotter then that. Don’t be mad at me.” I go over and give him a back hug.

“I love you too but remember something.” Jinki told me while rubbing my arm.

“What.”

“Payback.”

So this is the second story i wrote today in my journal since my wifi was out. Camment and tell me what you think! i really need criticism so I can know what to improve on. Sorry that its short, but I think this one is better short.
