Finding Shin Aera
The JournalI stood in front of a mansion, which surrounded by guards.
"I thought it would be something abandoned... I was wrong."
I pulled out the address sheet and looked at the back, only to see hints of how to get inside and find Aera.
My favorite flowers.
Her favorite flowers...
She always loved blood red roses.
I walked to the flower bed of blood red roses and started to look through it.
I saw a latch in the middle of the bed.
I pulled it and there was a flight of stairs, going underground.
I went inside and continued going down until I saw to passageways.
I pulled out the hint sheet.
When nothing goes right, go left.
I suppose I go left.
I walked into the left passageway until I found a locked door.
I pulled out the hint sheet.
The key to my heart.
My eyes widen, and a took off my necklace.
(Flashback)
"Here. I bought this for you." She handed me a necklace with a key pendent.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's the key to my heart. You are the only one who can open it and the door leads to a room where you can find me and only me. Keep it safe and sound. It might be handy later on."
(Flashback End)
I put the key in the lock, and turned it.
I heard a click telling me it was open.
I stuck my head in to make sure everything was clear.
My eyes widen when I saw Aera staring straight at me with a notebook in her hands.
Happy endings doesn't always happen.
"Well, well, well... Look what we have here." I looked behind Aera.
There was a old guy, around his thirties carrying a knife.
He caressed Aera's cheek.
"Did prince charming come to save you?" He asked her.
She nodded.
He looked straight at me.
He gave me an ugly grin.
"Let's see if your prince charming can save you."
He charged at me with the knife.
, I don't have a weapon.
I quickly scanned the place.
Nothing in sight.
Happy endings doesn't always happen.
Aera's signed popped through my mind.
Don't think of it now Lee Chanhee.
The guy tried to the knife in my stomach, but I dodged it.
I punched him hard in the face.
He stumbled back, but he charged at me again.
I kicked him hard into the wall, making him hit his head on the pipes.
That should give me enough time to get Aera out of here.
I ran to her and made her stand up.
"He's knocked out. Hurry Aera, let's go"
I grabbed her hand, but she stayed in her place.
I looked at her confused.
"It's not over yet." She whispered.
She looked at me sadly.
"Wha-"
I felt pain in my hip.
I looked down at it, and saw blood streaming down from it.
I looked behind me, and saw the guy smiling evilly.
"Bye bye prince charming."
