At first it started out with the sudden increase of bodyguards and ridiculous waves of failed attempts. Every week it was different, constantly changing locations so as to get him off the map and away from those bastards’ radar.

“I hear they’re sending out the best this time.”

Kibum gave a lazy shrug, barely looking up to direct his attention to the source of the voice. And with that he gave a nod. Looks like he has to move again.

Then one evening, the sudden breeze of the cold night gave it all away. Fingers carelessly traced out the window’s frame as he looked down on his feet, the sound of his men screaming and gunshots being fired everywhere cannot simply pass his ears.

Kibum bit his lip, he could say that the whole ordeal was just as he expected. The enemy did send out the best this time, didn’t they?

Black sky, black shadows, black everything. Dark, cold eyes were staring back at him and Kibum then again shifted his feet. The other man was barely even out of breath as it took him more or less thirty seconds to reach his room on the top floor, Kibum counted by the way.

“Hi.” His voice barely came out as a whisper, tipping his head to the side as Kibum turned his head away and focused his attention out on the window, but fully aware of the other man’s gaze on him. “You’re here to kill me, aren’t you?”

The other man clad in all black said nothing, his eyes flickering with the strongest flame Kibum has ever known to exist. With this, he took a deep breath and detached his hand from the pane. “Take me.”
