Suddenly you heard your main door being opened. Your heart was beating so fast when you heard the footsteps were getting closer. Only two people beside you who owned the key of your house, Jung Taekwoon and Cha Hakyeon.

His usual bright and smiley face now looks dull. His red and puffy eyes were the proof that he was crying for a long time, lack of sleep and possibly drunk. He looked so helpless and the sight of him broke your heart. As he was taking another step to you, he fell on his knees.

" CHA HAKYEON ".

You rushed toward him and tried to pull him up. When he felt your presence, he suddenly rounded his arms around your waist and leaned his cheek on your stomach. You couldn’t help but alarmed by his touch. After what happen that night, you became a bit afraid of him. What if he acted crazy like that night? You were going to peel his arms from you but you've changed your mind after you heard him sobbing. 

" I should've have done this earlier, down on my knees and beg for your forgiveness ".

" Cha Hakyeon.... ".

" I know it must be too late to beg for your forgiveness now, I should've begged sooner. No I should've begged that time. I did wrong, Lee _____.... comeback to me ".

His sobs became louder and heartbreaking. You cried along with him without even realized it. You caressed his hair and patted his back gently with your other hand to calm him down. You two were a happy couple, though you two kept on quarreling once in a while you guys still madly in love with each other. Since when everything went wrong? You look at your door and found him looked at you. You saw pain in his eyes but there was nothing you can do the chased away the pain because you were the one who caused it. Jung Taekwoon turned his back without a word and closed the door of your house.

Hakyeon was sleeping soundly in your arms. He snuggled closer to your chest causing you squirmed in discomfort. It's been a while since you two this close after what happen that night and it felt so uncomfortable for you. After making sure he was in deep sleep, you pried his fingers that clutched onto your shirt tightly. His brows knitted as he was no longer in your warm embrace. You caressed space between his brows to ensure him that you wouldn't leave him at least for tonight. A smile crept on your lips as you saw him smile in his sleep.

You walked downstairs to kitchen to get something to drink. You jumped in shock as you find a guy sitting in the dark dining room. You sighed in relief as you realized it just Taekwoon. His eyes pierced on yours demanding for explanation.

" Don't tell me you finally give up your V-card to him ".

You just scoffed hearing his blunt statement.

" You know I won't " .

" Just to make sure " he smiled in relief.

" I thought you left " you said then sat across to him.

" I did. But I comeback....Just to make sure that guy didn't repeat what he did that night ".

“ He won’t ”.

“ What make you sure? ”.

“ He just too tired to do something stupid, at least not tonight ”.

You just finished showering and sat in front of mirror while drying your hair. You glanced at your clock, it’s 6.30 already. You have to wake Hakyeon up since he has to go to work. You turn your head to Hakyeon only to find him already awake. He rested his chin on both of his palms with wide-foolish smile on his face.

“ You don’t have any idea how I miss seeing you dry your hair ”.

“ What’s so good about me drying your hair ”.

“ I just miss everything about you ”.

You just too busy dried your hair to realize that Hakyeon already stood behind you. You couldn’t help but feel threatened a bit just by his presence. He was sober unlike last night, he could do anything to you if he wanted.

“ May I? ”.

“ May what? ”.

You watched his every movement carefully. You were so ready to hit his head with your huge make up box if he decided to do anything bad.

“ Dry your hair… but of course if you…if you don’t mind ”.

Your heart clenched a bit at how timid he acted around you. He was trying so hard to make up for mistake that he had done and he was sincere, you could tell it. You felt bad to have suspicion on him. You even plan to attack him with that giant make up box.

“ Hm… ” you hummed in approval.

He smiled ear to ear after hearing it. He took the towel excitedly and started to dry your hair gently. His smile was so child-like. Just like the old innocent Hakyeon that you knew.

[Flashback]

You sighed as you saw Hakyeon already stood beside your car. You walked passed him and opened your car’s door.

“ _____-yah wait… Happy white day ” he said then gave you a bucket of roses.

“ Why would you give me something on white day, it’s not like I give you anything on valentine ”.

“ It doesn’t matter…. ”.

“ if you insist to give me something, you should give me something more useful than roses. A sack of rice will be better ” you said then got on inside your car.

The very next day Hakyeon really brought you a sack of rice and the whole campus made fun of you. You just joked and he really did what you said. You couldn’t tell whether this guy innocent or stupid.

[End of Flashback]

One by one memories of you and Hakyeon from the past reappeared. And every memory was filled with Hakyeon’s smile. A smile that made him looked goofy yet you grew to like it. No matter what you did to him, he always the one who yielded. He just smiled and apologized first, regardless who was wrong. He is always the patient one. You forgot that Hakyeon just ordinary person, someday he might explode too and he really did. And you were the one who pushed his button.

You tear up a bit at the sight of his smile. You just realized that you missed him so bad. The empty space inside your heart was finally filled up to the brim because of his presence. He stopped what he was doing as he heard your sobs.

“ ______-yah what’s wrong? Did I hurt you? I’m sorry… ”.

There he was again, always being sorry no matter who did wrong. You just realized that this guy meant a lot to you. Your sobs just became louder and uglier. He wanted to hug you to calm you down but he afraid you would hate him touching you. He just stood there not knowing what to do.

“ WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? WHY YOU JUST SHOW UP? DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU ALMOST LOSE ME TO SOMEONE ELSE? I ALMOST SAID F**KING YES WHEN HE PROPOSED ME  ”.

“ That red hair guy proposed you? ” he said in disbelief.

“ Anajwo *hug me* ” you said between your sobs.

“ Huh? ”.

“ ANAJWO…!!!! ”.

He smiled widely then hugged you. You can heard him sighed in content as you finally let him to have you in his arms again. Deep inside his heart, he swore would never let you go.

“ Tighter, Cha Hakyeon ”you mumbled.

“ Arasso ” he said then tightened his embrace causing you shrieked in pain.

You just finished tidied up your bed. Hakyeon almost didn’t go to work because he preferred to hug you all day long instead of going to work. You have to drag him to bathroom so he won’t late. Suddenly you heard your phone rang. You answered it without looked at the caller id.

“ Yoboseyo ” you said.

“ Someone sounds really happy ”.

“ Jung Taekwoon… ”.

“ Can I come over? ”.

“ Right now…. I’m not at home ” you lied.

“ Then where are you? I’ll come over ”.

You can’t think of any random place. In the end you just bite your bottom lip nervously. You didn’t know why you lied to Taekwoon on the first place. You just didn’t want to meet him. You heard someone walked upstairs. You peeked through the door of your room and found Taekwoon looked at you.

“ I thought you said you weren’t home ”.

Taekwoon was going to hug you but you stepped backward. You lifted your head to look at him. He looked hurt with your rejection.

“ Let’s stop seeing each other ”.

“ Why? ”.

“ I just realize the one that I love is Hakyeon…. And I can’t live without him ”.

“ It doesn matter to me as long as I can linger by your side ”.

“ You can’t…. I don’t want to hurt Hakyeon ”.

“ That’s why you choose to hurt me ”.

You opened your mouth but nothing came out. Taekwoon was right. You couldn’t help but hurt Taekwoon to protect Hakyeon’s feeling.

“ I’m sorry…. I shouldn’t let you in in the first place ”.

" When you told me that you love me... when you said I was your ideal type....It were lies? ".

It's true. I really meant it when I said I love you.  And yes you are my ideal. Even if you ask me the same question right now, I will say the same. That's why I hope we stop seeing each other. Because I'm afraid you will shake my heart again. I would end up hurting the three of us again.

" Yes " you lied.

Taekwoon just laughed. It made him looked more pitiful than before. You wanted to hug him to comfort him but you restrained yourself. You want to dump him coldly so it would be easier for him to resent you, to forget you.
