Yunee was resting on her living room couch when she received another text. She checked the phone and it was a new message from Kris. It said:

"I know it's soon, but would you like to meet me at the bar for a drink? This time I'll pay."

Yunee smiled. Kris seemed very interested in her, and that made her happy. She replied that she would indeed like to go out for a drink with him and then got up from the couch. She walked to her room and entered the closet to pick out something alluring to wear.

Yunee's cat watched from the bed as she put on a black dress and fixed her hair. "I'm going on a date, Fluffy," she told the cat and left her apartment.
