Yunee was still very nervous at first. The family sat around the fireplace and drank hot cocoa while Mrs. Wu showed Yunee pictures of Kris as a child. Kris found it embarrassing, but Yunee thought it was cute.

The next day, Mrs. Wu invited Yunee for a hike and some nature photography while Mr. Wu and Kris went fishing on a mountain lake.

"My son admires you very much," Mrs. Wu told Yunee as she snapped a photograph of a moose.

At the same time, Mr. Wu told Kris as he hooked a piece of bait, "Yunee would make a great daughter-in-law someday."
