Yoseob walked through the rain without any umbrella.

*I miss halmeoni and haraboji.* He thought and his tears fell on his wet cheeks.

He remembered the time his grandparents sang him a lullaby.

It was calm and relaxing.

"Yang Yoseob! Where the hell did you go!?" A voice greeted him.

Yoseob closed the door behind him and stared coldly at the person.

"None of your business." He said.

"Of course it is! I am your dad!" The person yelled.

"Yeah, right. I forgot that you are my dad." Yoseob sarcastically said.

"Don't be rude!"

"I am not being rude, APPA."

His appa hit him until his lips bleeded.

"Yeobo! Stop it!" His mom's voice echoed the living room.

"This kid needs to learn his lesson." His appa calmed down.

"Yeobo, please. It's our fault. Yoseob, go to your room." His mom said.

"No, umma. Let him beat me all he wants. I am not even his son in his eyes."

Yoseob wiped the blood on his lips and looked at his dad.

"Just go." His mom mouthed and signalled him to go.

Yoseob obeyed this time and went into his room.

He slammed the door shut and sat on the cold floor.

He closed his eyes and silently cried.

"Biga oneun naren nareul chajawa,

Bameul saewo gwirophida,

Biga keuchyeo gamyeon neodo ddaraseo,

Seoseohi jogeumshik keuchyeo gagettji."

He hugged his legs and hid his face.

"Halmeoni, haraboji. If just you were here, I wouldn't get hit like this."

"Oppa, what are you thinking about?" Yojin asked her oppa.

"Nothing. Just some stuff." He smiled and pinched her cheeks.

"Arasseo. Oppa, can I ask you something?"

"What is it, cutie?"

"Was umma pretty?"

"Nae, she was. She's as pretty as you."

The siblings talked about other stuffs and fell asleep in each other's embrace.
