You've been walking around Han River that you didn't realize it's already night time.  You were walking without looking at the people passing by. You accidentally bumped a little kid who started crying

"Don't cry...noona is sorry" You cooed the little boy

"Woah noona is pretty" The boy stopped crying and looked at you. You his cheek and smiled

"Where is your mom little boy?" You asked. He pointed by the tree and right then you saw a familiar shadow. With a sigh you helped the kid to go back to his mom

"Oh my Jinyoung! Umma was worried" The little kid's mom hugged her kid and thanked you before leaving

"Why are you following me?" You asked "I know you know that I know already so why still hide?"

"You're getting better at sensing the difference between vampires and human" L stepped out and looked at you. Right away you notice some wounds on his exposed skin caused by the sun

"Did you follow me from the beginning?" You asked

"Yes" He answered. You took out the first aid kit in your bag and asked him to sit beside you

"You shouldn't have..." You said as you cleaned his wound "Thank goodness the sun is gone" You gently applied medicine on his wound "Did Hoya ask you to follow me?"

"No I did it out of my own will" L smiled. Deep inside he felt warm knowing you were worried about him.

"Why?" You asked

"Because I know...I know how you feel..I know I'm sorry I promised to not read your mind, but the way you act in front of Hoya hyung makes me want to know what you're thinking inside. You care for him so why not just show it to him?"

"Because I killed him" Tears flow down your eyes. "If he didn't save me he would still be alive"

"You don't understand do you? He loves you and it's obvious he'd do anything to protect you." L said "I'd do the same too" He whispered the last part

"What?"

"Nothing...listen...the point is...we all care for you and we just want you to stay safe....maybe you should quit your job...become normal..."

"Why don't you turn me oppa? why don't you turn me in to a vampire? that way I don't have to worry anyone?"

"You know the reason. We told you lots of times. You've seen how Hoya hyung suffered before. We don't want you to go through it." He wiped your tears

"Still..."

"Then I have one more question" You bravely asked

"You know how I feel about you..why are you not saying anything? why are you not ignoring me or something?"

"Because I know you hate vampires" He answered "You hate what we are" You looked away

"I know how you feel about me..." He cupped your face "I don't want to hurt you" L said before kissing your forehead. He stood up and grabbed your hand

"Let's go home now..they're waiting for us" L held on your hand as you two walked back  home

"Myungsoo oppa" You stopped walking. L looked at you "Thank you...for always being there for me" You said as you kissed him on the cheek

"I know you know how I feel, thank you for still staying with me..." You were about to walk away but yanked you back
"I'll always stay with you....forever....please know that.." He hugged you tight

"I know..." You smiled in his embrace. For the first time...you felt like...maybe...just maybe there's no need to hate their kind...
