Hyoyeon could feel his gaze on her, and it was making her neck heat up.

Pretending to care about the game she was playing on her iPad, she carefully turned her head to look over her shoulder, only to catch him staring straight at her. That little quirk of his mouth at the fact that he caught her looking was enough to send her facing forward again.

The band members started to grab their things and head for the door, saying their good-byes to the other Girls Generation members in the meantime. She sensed him coming, but couldn't see him. Pretending that he dropped something on the floor behind her, he placed his hand on her chair before reaching down to grab whatever it was, brushing his hand lightly against her back on the way up.

‘See you later, sunbae-nim,’ he called out to her other members, although she knew with the slight inflection of his voice he was teasing her.

Hyoyeon let out the breath that she wasn’t aware she’d been holding.
