No one decided to talk they're just looking and stealing glances to each other while having second thoughts if they will start interrogating the two while two are thinking if they will finally defend themselves but Mrs.Hwang decided to break the tension between them

"ahem......I'm definitely disappointed about you two why didn't you told us you're dating and what shocked us was from what we saw earlier!" The older woman doesn't sound angry and there's a tint of excitement on her voice

Tiffany was about to explain but her father starts to talk

"Stephanie explain before I choke this guy to death" he said in monotone but the anger is clearly seen through his eyes 

Onew gulped he knows Mr.Hwang but they're not close like Mrs.Hwang

"Honey calm down... This guy is Onew Taemin's childhood friend and Tiffany's boyfriend" she nudged her husband while smiling merrily it her smile faded when her husband glared at her

"talk now Stephanie...or" he narrowed his brow signaling his daughter to talk

She raised her brow to her parent and rested her head on the couch she's too tired to explain more

"Tch appa they're dating noona is just patching those excuses believe me..." Taemin told his father while grinning widely, Onew looked at him sharply but he didn't budged on his seat 

"Uhmmm Sir we're not dating I'm just your daughter's schoolmate nothing more so sorry for the inconvience we caused" he stood up and bowed

Tiffany looked at him in disbelief because why didn't he told that he's courting her

'YAH!Stop talking nonsense Miyoung' she lightly pinched her waist then properly sat on the couch

"and what made you think I'll believe you huh?!" He raised his brow at the younger boy, but he's just testing him if he will be able to defend himself and his daughter 

Onew took a deep breathe then looked straight to his eyes

"because Sir I don't have a reason to lie and yeah I'm not dating your daughter but I'm courting her for two years now I can wait until she finally accept me but I want you to know Sir that if I will be your daughter's boyfriend I will stay by her side forever,I will treat her like a princess and most of all I'll make her feel my love everyday Sir..." After Onew sincerely said those words he bowed again but with a nervous smile on his face

Tiffany can only blush so she put her palms on her face while resting her head on the armchair 

Mrs.Hwang and Taemin gave him thumbs up he just smiled at them then looked at Mr.Heang who's slowly approaching him he closed his eyes 

'endure his punches Onew' he told himself while clutching on his uniform  

Mr.Hwang chuckled and walked towards him he gently put his hand on Onew's shoulder while his other hand on his hair

"you're the first guy who treated our daughter like that and had courage to tell that all I like you son...I like you for my daughter but if I found out you're just fooling around" he lightly punched his abdomen that alarmed Tiffany

"Appa!" She whined then pulled his father away 

"Tch chill Stephanie I'm just having fun with this young man make sure to give me beautiful grandchildren" her father wiggled his brow and gave her a wide smile

"ARGHHHHH WHATEVER I'M GOING TO MY ROOM" she squealed then run to her room her brother and mother laughing at her

Onew just smiled to himself when he saw her blushing but when Mr.Hwang patted his arm 

"yes Sir?"

"don't call me Sir call me uncle okay?"

Onew sctwched his nape and beamed a smile

"Uhmmm yes uncle" 

"aigoo I'm just wondering why my daughter is still playing hard to get you're a handsome guy,respectful,kind,sweet and gentleman tsk I'm gonna talk to her" Mrs.Hwang said then went to her daughter's room

"Uhmmm S--Uncle I asked your daughter to Uhmmm accompany me to the market tomorrow and I will bring her to the amusement park uhmm uncle can I do that?" He said those words while fidgeting his hands

"of course you can but make sure to send her here before 9 pm sharp okay and please no funny business" He patted Onew's hair again then after he left. Just him and Taemin who's busy grinning like there's no tomorrow

"Yah stop that I'm going home now" he lightly pushed his dongsaeng

Taemin while he's sending outside but when he will glare he will immediately shut up

"so bye Taemin goodnight" he ruffled his hair then did their handshake

"take care hyung looks like noona is being cheerful these past few days all thanks to you"
