For the past 3 years, I've been in all the same classes as Yoseob, but we've never said more than a word to each

other. This year, the teacher made a seating chart for the class and put us together...yet we still haven't talked to

each other. I  admit I have a crush on him, but I'm sure he doesn't like me. It's the last day of school today and we

received our yearbooks , maybe I should ask him to sign it.

I hear the bell that signals last period...English. Okay I'm going to do it, I'm going to sit down and ask Yoseob to sign

my yearbook. I don't care if he refuses, at least I won't regret not asking. I walk into the classroom and I see that

Yoseob  is  already sitting at his desk with his books out, ready for the last class of the year to start. I take my seat

beside him and open my backpack to pull out my things. I put my yearbook on my desk, and slightly push it

towards his desk. 

"Will you sign my yearbook?" I ask quietly so only he could hear. I think to myself  Please say yes, please say yes. 

"Sure, why not." He says cooly. Oh my gosh, he said yes! What is he going to write? He takes my yearbook and

opens to the back cover and picks up his pen. I look at him, as he does this. He is just so cute, from his eyes to his

button nose, and I've heard him singing with his group, Beast, before, it's so angelic. I could just listen to him all day.

He stares at the page for a couple of seconds, and starts to puff his cheeks. Awww. Just then, the teacher walks in,

Yoseob looks up and closes my yearbook and puts it under his book. What the... 

I try to ignore it and focus on the lesson, but every now and then I sneak a glance at Yoseob to see if he's writing in 

my yearbook, but nothing. 

There's 10 minutes left in class. He's never going to sign it. Disappointment starts to kick in, when I hear books 

shuffling beside me. I sneak another glance and to my surprise, I see him writing in my yearbook. I mentally let out a

sigh of relief.

Just as the final bell rings, Yoseob closes my yearbook and gives it to me. I start to open it to see what he wrote, it

probably looked very desperate but I was too curious.

"Don't read it till I leave the classroom." he says as he packs up his books and starts to leave the classroom.

Once he leaves the classroom, I quickly open my yearbook and flip through the last couple of pages to find what he

wrote.

"Why are you still in the classroom?" The teacher asks, I look up and see that everyone has already left the

classroom. 

"I just need to see something, I'll leave really soon." I reply.

"Okay." The teacher chuckles, as she starts organizing the papers on her desk. 

I go back to yearbook, and start scanning through the messages left by my friends. Found it. I started to read...

"Dear ______,

I'm sorry I couldn't write this quickly, but I didn't know what to write and I didn't want your yearbook to be covered in

scribbled out words. So here it goes. We've been in all the same classes together for 3 years now, and I regret not

talking to you and not try to be friends. I probably seem like a really cold person for that, but I was just really nervous

and didn't know what to say.  I was going to say something today, but thankfully you approached me first and asked

me to sign your yearbook keke ^-^ 

What I was going to say was: I like you, do you want to hang out after school today? 

My cellphone number is (123) 456-7890, hopefully you'll text me and say yes, but if it's a no I understand. I hope

we'll be in same classes again next year. Have a great summer.

I keep reading the same sentence over and over "I like you, do you want to hang out after school today?" ...I can't

believe it. He actually likes me! I snap out of it and grab my phone and and punch in his number. I text to him:

My answer is yes, I would love to hang out with you :) 

I hit Send. What's going to happen now...?

A couple of seconds later, I hear running in the hallways. I look towards the door, and I see Yoseob at the door

panting like he just ran across the school. He looks at me and gives me the biggest smile. 

"Hi" he says as he walks towards me. 

"Hi" I reply, trying to not scream, I don't want to freak him out. I still can't believe this is happening! 

When he reaches my desk, he holds his hand out towards me and says "You ready?" 

With a huge smile on my face, I nod. I pick up my bag, take his hand. As we leave the classroom together I think to

myself I'm glad I asked him to sign my textbook, now I know I definitely won't regret it.

Epilogue

As Yoseob and _____ walk out of the classroom together holding hands, the teacher smiles to herself and thinks

The other teachers told me they've been in the same classes for the past 3 years, it's about time they started dating!

I knew I did the right thing making those two sit together, they make a cute couple. Keke the other teachers will love

this, I better go tell them.
