SEUNG AH' POV

 

I am trembling. What should I do? What if I do not like him? What if he does not like me? What if I really fall for him? So many questions are floating in my head, I fix my hair with my fingers, my sweaty hands shaking. I cannot believe my manager is making me do this. Why me of all the members?

 

Trying to think about something else, I hear steps behind me, turning - I see him, smiling. My heart is beating so fast. I have seen his face before but I cannot tell who he really is. He is handsome.

 

"Annyeonghaseyo!'' He says bowing, his eyes nowhere to be seen, only his smile which reminds me of a rabbit. Maybe this dating game is not going to be so bad. It could be fun. Maybe I could really find someone. I cannot help but let out a laugh. He is really cute. "Annyeonghaseyo." he says again. I guess he is just as nervous as I am.

 

I stand up and bow back, trying not to sound so nervous. "Is it hot?" trying to start a conversation.

 

He quickly replies. I am too mesmerized by his ...everything. He is so thoughtful buying coffee. He seems so careful with his every move.

 

I sit down. We continue the small talk. He says something about girls and sweet coffee, but I can only hear the sound of my beating heart. Is it alright to be so nervous?

 

"Let's start the introduction first."

 

He starts first. He is not here as a member from JJ Project. God, why is he a such good speaker? I continue nodding. I am so nervous. He is looking at me. Right in my eyes. I am panicking. Breathe, Se Mi, Breathe.

 

"I am Rainbow's Oh Seung Ah." I manage to say. Nothing else is said. Suddenly everything is awkward.

 

I take a sip from my coffee. He comments on the awkwardness.

 

"Are you okay with this?" he asks.

 

"Of course!" I reply immediately.

 

He lets out an awkward laugh. I spit out my coffee. Great, just great.

 

He plays with his lips.  I forget that this is a show about idols dating for a second.

Standing out the coffee, we are waiting for the staff to give us our first mission. The camera starts rolling again. I wonder what our first mission is going to be, probably something simple.

I have nothing to worry about, right? 

 

Sipping from my coffee, finally they gave us our mission. JB takes it. I spit my coffee again. I really need to calm my

nerves. Fixing my hair, JB opens the envelope and lets an awkward laugh. I glanced at the picture. Holding hands, my heart suddenly beats even faster.

 

"We have to do it together?" I ask. It is a dumb question, but I am too nervous to think straight. Taking out the picture, laughing, showing the camera. "We

have to do this just once. We only just met an hour ago and we have to..."

 

Smiling, kind of happy that I will be holding his hands - even excited a little bit. I shall take advantage from being in this show."Oh... Longer than a minute? Alright then!" He says. I cannot help

 but giggle breathlessly.

 

Starting to walk down the streets, getting to know him more and more. He is full of charms. Treating me really sweet. Is he really like that? Or is it because of the camera?

Now sitting at a stall, eating ddubokki, he is randomly talking about his previous relationships and crushes. 

 

"So there's only been three girls who I've ever liked." I nod in response  and he drops ddubokki on his pants. Stopping my chewing, we ask for a tissue and he carefully cleans the stain. "You can't really tell." 

 

I try to convince him and to make him feel a little bit better. "Because it's already black..." He replies while he looks at me for a second. I nod again. "What a relief. You wore the right outfit today." Finding my comment funny, I laugh to myself. He turns around, finished with the cleaning, and looks at something, I look at the same direction. "It should be night-time."

 

Soon he is again talking about himself, random facts, things that he enjoys. Does he share that easily in real life? I am really curious about his personality off-screen.

 

Talking about our hobbies, likings, I noticed something. He was using my chopstick. "But that's mine!" I laughed, his reaction was funny, even funnier that he bit and that chopstick. But...wait? Is he disgusted? Can he smell my breath from that stick? Is my breath bad? He wanted to give me a new one but I refused. I am not easily grossed out.

 

"I must really be nervous." He admits he is nervous too.

We play around for quite some time. He is very child alike, which is normal for a 19 year old. Off camera he seems more serious.

Walking down the street, the staff announces that we must do the mission before we go to Jeju island. Totally forgotten about the mission, I ask "What?". I suddenly realise what is happening.

He grabs my hand. Since when is he so manly, I think to myself.

 

His hand is big and warm and my calmed heart is now racing again.

 

"Right now my hand is...my hand is shaking."

A/N: It's quite short, but we will make sure the next one is longer and more interesting..I know it's kinf of making the same as the show, but it's like a book or smth :D but don't worry we will add behind the scenes when they arrive at Jeju.
