This story takes place right after Gu Joonpyo and So Yijeong left South Korean to go and study abroad. Joonpyo asked Jihoo to take care of Jandi while he was gone and the latter agreed. Song Woobin's father decided to take him to a university in New York where he would get the proper training both in education and being a mafia lord. Yi jeong already knew about this and realised no one would be there to look after Gaeul so he bought her a blackberry smartphone with video call, a laptop with a web cam and a tablet so that they keep in touch. After a year Jihoo started distancing himself from Jandi and gave no reason whatsoever. The story begins two weeks before Jihoo avoided like a plague.
