Be Mine? ♥
Mr. Bear
I sighed and sat down on the curb, feeling dejected.
The person I love, wait no, loved wasn’t who I thought he was.
Again, I heaved a sigh.
Life isn’t perfect anymore.
But then again, it never is.
I lazily turned my head, looking around.
And jumped.
“What…?”
I stared at the white teddy bear sitting a metre away from me on the curb.
That wasn’t there before.
“Uh…” I looked around, seeing if anyone was around.
No one.
I shuffled awkwardly towards it, and picked up a note.
“For you, girl on the curb.” I mumbled aloud.
It looked like someone had scrawled onto it really messily because they were in a hurry.
I turned the card around, but nothing else was written on it.
I looked down at the fluffy object.
It made my lips spread into a smile.
I sat down beside it and squeezed it.
The teddy bear felt warm and comfortable.
I inhaled its scent.
It smelt like freshly brewed coffee and faint cologne.
I raised my head as a truck drove past me.
As truck drove away, I saw a boy standing on the other side of road.
I knew the boy.
He’s a student from my class.
He’s a really quiet and a bit of a nerd, but everyone’s friends with him.
He had a shy smile on his face and held up a piece of paper.
Be Mine?
