More Than a Dream Come True

Description

They say Macau is the City of Dreams. A mystic place where dreams are created and lived. Yet for us, for two girls, stepping foot in another land - another continent, our City of Dream in not that, no. It's Seoul, Korea. It wasn't the bright cities' lights that brought us here, nor the grandeur little shops which littered small tidy street cornors. No, it was something else. Something....of which even I still cannot say. It whispered to us, brought us here. It led us down our path, pushing us to where we were suppose to go - the path that we must walk to become more than what we were.

Yet that path.....became more than just a path.

That path....led us the people who'll cherish us. People who will cry when we cry, or cherish us as we cherished them.

But...it was also littered with hardships...and pain.

It made us look at ourselves - face our past and...accept new love.

This is a story of two girls - One a passionate dancer whose came to Korea with dreams, still not spoken aloud. A New Jersey girl whose love for dance is contagious yet, insecurities hide her talent.

But....maybe meeting SHINee's maknae Taemin would change all that.

And then there's Pyeonji - Just a small town girl, whose as open as a book, yet as closed as a lock. She comes to Korea, along with her friend to escape it all, the written life, which was planned out for her.

And due to a lucky break Pyeonji has landed a job working as a Manager to MBLAQ, a great opportunity to pay off their debts - and also the first domino to fall in this little collab love story.

Okie Dokie Guys! Before you start reading let me tell you something! This is written by TWO different people! Which means one person will write Pyeonji' P.O.V and another will do Kara's. Enjoy!

Foreword

Introduction/Pyeonji P.O.V

I say, no we say, that fate can have a somewhat twisted humor. It can lead you from one place to another, whether it’s just down the street from some sweet bakery or across the world, it’ll always lead you somewhere, anywhere. Sometimes it’ll teach you lessons, or allow you to taste the bitterness of the world. And the world we live in has much to offer, and one of the fruit it bears is the fruit of love.

I, Pyeonji might say that I’ve tasted that lustrous fruit; and unlike some, it was forced down my throat. While I endure its honeyed joys, its tart after taste still lingers on my tongue; a distant reminders of what had come or what’s to come for you whom will read my – no our stories. Love plagued my mind, when I’d least expect it, when I least wanted it. But it found me, at the oddest of places. In South Korea – with Lee Joon.
