Description

Independentstrong and brave, June was finally going to South Korea on her own to find what she was really made to do. After finishing high school in the US it was time to grow up and forget about her past. She wanted to absorb as much culture and knowledge as possible, and just be free before getting trapped in college, just like how her father advised her to do. With Ilhoon and Minha, her childhood friends, they'll have to make life-changing decisions and she'll discover some secrets about herself and her family. But most importantly, she will become a strong woman next to her new companions, the members of a growing boy group called BTOB.

Foreword

Sneak peak...

She ran towards his shirtless figure and tightly hugged him. It seemed as if he came back from the army and they haven't had a moment like this in ages. He was hot, the warmth contaminating her body. She saw a flash of his perfect smile and as she slowly and flirtatiously walked away, she entered her 1st grade classroom. The lights were dim in cold tones of blue and as she walked through the doorway, cradled in a cardboard box was her kindergarten love posing in fetal position. She observed his bruised face as he remained silent and still. He was probably dead. All of the population of her community was gathered there, crying over bodies resting in hospital beds. The tsunami was devastating and not a strand of hope remained. She felt a tear fall from her now blurry eyes as she helped an old couple get up from the floor. Their daughter, the little girl with down syndrome, she also passed away.

Desperation filled the air and reporters crowded the entrance of the building. As much as she had to remain poised for the sake of others she couldn't hide her preoccupation. She was lost in thought when a strong hand reached out for her's. She discovered all of the sadness could suddenly turn into a slight exasperation, but in a good way. With their hands intertwined they walked passed the sea of reporters and paparazzi. It wasn't for long but she caught a glimpse of the man that was making her feel so safe. He was a tall, handsome man, sporting a cargo jacket with simple black fashion glasses. They hid behind a truck, trying to avoid the constant flashes of light. The man gently touched the girl's temple, then cheek, lip, and chin. With water forming in his eyes he got gingerly close to her blushed face. She wanted this badly because this deja vu feeling of desperate desire came back, making her yearn for the moment when their lips would join and tingle from the touch. But then June woke up. Her cellphone's alarm clock was ringing, as she had set it for 7am: 3 hours before her flight would arrive in South Korea and just in time for breakfast. She knew she had a pleasant dream but she couldn't remember what it was about.
