Chapter 33:
Day 28- Light (Monday. Between 9 am and noon)

Nana had left Jungah's hospital room early in the morning after Jungah had urged her to see if they had waken up yet. When she had seen them deciding to come there, she had informed her that she didn't want to bother and preferred doing some brain work instead.

And now she was in her room, back in the darkest mansion of all, with her pet summoned beside her. She stared at it momentarily.

"Why did the Jinah counterpart never reacted till now? Is she sleeping inside this?" She asked herself with her palm supporting her chin as she lay on the floor.

She took her pet and ripped open the stitches, turned it upside-down and shook it as various items fell. She put back the unnecessary ones, including her long never-ending scythe, and reassembled the small crystal pieces.

She tried to reconstruct the shape of a human heart with the coloured pieces but they didn't react with each other, not sticking up and falling back.

She asked her pet to turn into the gem form and it did as told. She approached it to the mix and it started glowing, emanating a small spark that led her to throw it by the sudden high heat.

She shook her burned hand and blew on it to cool it off. "What was that for?" She asked in annoyance.

The pet shook its head to remove confusion as soon as it transformed back to its original self. It floated back to Nana and stuck its 'forehead' with Nana's with angry eyes.

"I should ask you the same! What were you thin-

"Ha?" Nana was confused by the voice that came from her pet that she stared at with crossed eyes.

"Huh? Oh... oh!" The pet floated backwards and twirled to look at itself. "Omg, I can talk!"

"Who..." She was still at loss of words.

"Oh come on, I'm Jinah! Well, part of me is actually... I heard your conversations and I can't believe Omma is going to die." The pet sulked as its half circles were showing worry. "An that burned me too, huff."

"So a part of you was trapped in this?"

"You don't remember what Death said? Apparently a part of my heart was used for this gem of yours so you have my physical appearance."

"Uh...yeah. I remembered, duh!" Nana sat up, crossing her arms.

"Pffff hahahaha!" The pet's eyes closed, forming a spiky line for each. "You personality thief! So as you shared my looks, you also got my stubborn personality."

"Enough with the talk, Jin." She glared at the pet.

"Okay, okay, I'll be back to the mute self in this body whom I share it with the pet's stupid material programmed form to be under your command and serve as your pouch. Between, Omma called me like that too, hehe."

"Shhhh!"

There was a short sigh from the pet before its half circles turned back to the usual emotionless ones.

Nana shot a glare before the pet was back to its normal self once again.
