Description
Have you ever had your heart ripped out by your own lover? Embarrassed in front of the entire grade? That pain that just blooms across your chest, it’s unmistakable. When I see them together, whether it is kissing, or just simply hugging, it tortures me. Mentally and physically. The only question that begs to be answered in my head…is she really all that good? I could have been in her place if he had chosen me instead. When I breathe my last breath…I would still see them together. I’m giving up. Life’s all a lie. It has turned into this. Living is a constant battle.

I'm writing this short story for a writing contest: Never Stop Dreaming. I'm using prompt #27 & #45:
"Living is a constant battle."
"They say before you die, your whole life flashes before your eyes."
