      There are some things he can no longer look at the same ever again. Like puppies, daisies, bonnets or little girls in pigtails. He doesn't think they are necessarily terrible to give up looking at, but-- She liked puppies, daisies, bonnets and putting her hair up in pigtails. And so, he doesn't like to look at those anymore.
