Here I am, packing my things because later Bom and I will go back to Korea and live together with Minzy and CL... they know how much I dreaded to go back there... what if... what if I saw him again? I know because of me and my selfishness, our fame was currently on hiatus...


“Yah! Dara make it fast, will yah?” Bom shouted as she get her things on her closet


“Arasso, arasso” I said


“D-ah... when we go back there, we'll be busy like hell! God, we've been on hiatus for nearly 3 years and the blackjacks miss us!” Bom started ranting again about our comeback.YG sanjangnim already announced that 2NE1 is having a comeback on May and it is already April, that means one month left. It is good that Kush oppa came here in U.S and taught us the songs, so that when we come back in Korea, we're just going to record it. Oh yeah, no one knows where we live, and when I say no one knows, it is only CL, Minzy, YG sanjangnim and Kush oppa knows where we live for nearly three years.



[Flashback]


2NE1 was having a serious talk to YG about their hiatus.“Are you really serious about this?” YG asked CL


“Sanjangnim, we've talked about this already and we decided to have some break besides we've been in the industry for 5 years, isn't it the time for us to have some rest?” CL said


“I know that you've been working night and day for 5 years but what about your fans?” YG asked again


“They'll understand” Dara simply answered “And Minzy can continue her studies and finish it”


“You have a point there Dara” YG paused “but you can't be on hiatus for that long!” 


“Please...” Dara pleaded. She was the one who wanted to have some vacation in order to forget what happened


“Dara... I know that you and JiYong broke up but that doesn't mean that you're taking the risk of your life's dream!” YG said in a loud voice


“Sanjangnim, you don't understand!” Dara shouted “whenever we see each other in this building, God knows I've tried my best to smile and greet him like nothing happened! God knows I've tried my best... God knows how much I've suffered...” Dara broke down and ran outside the office while Minzy followed her


"Sanjangnim, please? You know that when one of us is missing, 2NE1 won't be complete and they might think that Dara unnie is now not a member of 2NE1 and we know how much blackjacks love her!” CL said


“Arasso, arasso!” YG agreed “But you; CL and Minzy are going to stay here to continue your studies while you; Bom and Dara can stay in U.S. Don't worry, I'll be the one to handle all the speculations that will arise sooner or later. And if you're worried that I might tell Big Bang about your whereabouts, I won't for the sake of Dara”


“Kamsahamnida Sanjangnim!” CL gladly said and followed Dara and Minzy

“Dara, you ready now? Because our service is already here!” Bom shouted


“I'll be there in a minute!” I shouted back, I took my trolley and bag


It's good that there are no traffics and we easily checked-in. Now, all we have to do is to wait for other passengers. I dozed off for the whole flight! Gawd, who wouldn't sleep for almost a day flight when your best friend was nagging you for the whole day before your flight!


“Dara! Ssandara! Ssantokki! Darong! D-ah! Wake up! We're already here!” Bom shook me


I rub my eyes and noticed that we already landed off. Bom and I took our bags and we headed inside the airport. Before getting our trolleys, we went first in the powder room and placed hats, so that people won't recognize us easily. I think so, this was Bom's idea not mine. When we went out, luckily people would just past across us and not bothering to look at us. We got our trolleys easily and no one recognize us until we came in our dorm. Bom took my trolley and she offered to arrange them in my closet. I opened the television and saw our maknae representing our group with her dance battle with Kara's Nicole, BEG's Ga-in and 4 minute's Hyunah.


“Unnie! Unnie!” I shouted “Mingkki is on the tv!”


Bom ran and sat beside me “waah our Minkki's all grown up now!”


“I know! They know that we'll come here at Korea later night”


“Yup! And they'll be super shock when they saw us!” Bom grinned


“ oh! Btw, YG sanjangnim is having a welcome back party for us”


“Who are invited?” I asked. Afraid that he might be there...


“Dara, don't worry. I think he wasn't invited because he's so busy in Japan promoting his album” Bom assured me


“How did you know that?”


“Duh? Internet” Bom answered sarcastically


“So, the others will be here?”

“Think so...”



Our conversation was cut when our phone rang and since I was nearer to it, Bom looked to me as if saying answer-that-damn-phone.


“Yoboseoyo?” I asked


“Dara, this is YG” Said on the other line


“Oh! YG sanjangnim!”


“Someone will fetch you there at exactly an hour and make sure you're already ready for the party later. You know we can only have party for this time of the day because others have to go back in their jobs”


“Arasso” I said as I hung up the phone


“Who's that?” Bom asked


“Unnie, YG sanjangnim said that get ready for the party later and at exactly one hour later, someone will fetch us!”


“Okay!”


An hour later, someone rang the doorbell. Since Bom is still preparing, I opened it and I was flabbergasted to see Big Bang boys except him...


“Guys! What are you doing here?” I asked


“YG sanjangnim told us to fetch you here” TOP informed me


“Of course... erm.... come in. let's just wait for unnie” I said as I lead them on our living room


“Noona, where have you been?” Seung ri asked


“Seung ri, mianhe that I didn't tell you where we live. Its just that we needed to have some 'peace'.” I explained


“But noona, you should have told us!” Dae said


“I know and it is my fault”


“Noona,  I know I'm not in the right position to ask this but did you purposely didn't tell us your whereabouts because of Jiyong?” TOP's question shocked me. YB, Dae and Seung ri looked at me and waited for my answer


“No...” I muttered “like what I've said... we needed some 'peace'”


“Noona, you know that we've been best buds since your trainee days and it pains me that you didn't contacted me for nearly 3 years!” Bae said


I hug him and whisper “mianhe... I know I've caused you a lot of pain and you know why we didn't tell you where we're staying, right?” I felt him nod


“Guys, let's go!” Bom chirped


We rode the car of Big Bang. The whole journey was quite noisy because of them. While me and Young bae were catching up with each other. He told me all the things that happened to him and to Big Bang and I also told him what happened to me for those 2 years that we're gone. How hard it was not to talk to your loving fans, how hard it was to lie to those people who recognize you.


“Noona, if you only you told me...” Bae said pitifullyI laughed


“But Bae, I won't have to feel them anymore because I have all of you!”


“Yah! Noona, who do you love, me or Daesung hyung?” Seung ri asked out of blue


I pretended to think “hmm... of course both of you” I said


“I told you!” Daesung said “that noona loves us both!”


“But noona loves me more!” Seung ri pouted


“Aww... isn't he cute when he pouts?” I asked as I ruffled the hair of Seung ri


“Yeah right” Bae snorted


“You're just jealous, hyung!” Seung ri continued to pout


After 45 minutes, we entered the room of sanjangnim and he hugged us.


“I miss the 4D and 8D of 2NE1!” YG said enthusiastically


“Us too!” Bom said while I nod “we miss our second father, our second family”


“Dara, how are YOU?” YG asked me


“I'm okay, I can face all the intrigues and everyone” I said “Sanjangnim, why--”


CL looked shocked “unnies!” both her and Minzy screamed


“Waaah! I missed you so much!” Minzy started to cry


“Me too! It wasn't the same without both of you! We have to dealt all the intrigues about us!” CL said as she hugged me


“Don't worry, CL-roo. We're already here and we're going to face all those battles together” I assured her


“Dara's right! Now that 2NE1 is back... no one can bring us down! We're going to show them how fierce 2NE1 is!” Bom agreed


A month later. Our newest songs were topping on charts and there are so many news about our comebacks and our schedules are all packed up! Guest here, guest there. Perform here, perform there! Everyone's fussing about our comeback.


“Dara unnie! You're next!” Minzy said


“Okay!” I stood up and went to hair dresser


The hair dresser was busy preparing what she'll need for my hair when Youngbae came panting


“Taeyang oppa, what are you doing here?” CL asked


“Omo... CL can you fill the spot of Ji?” He panted in between


Jiyong? What happened to him?


“Wae?” CL asked


“Kwon omma called us and told us that Ji's not feeling well” Youngbae said


“Really?” I asked standing up from my seat


“Neh...” Youngbae nod


“CL, fill the spot. Bae, what are you going to sing?” I ordered CL


“Gara, gara go!” Bae said


“Good, CL you know that right?” I looked at her


“Of course!” CL said


“Okay, and Minzy fill my spot for our later's performance” I said as I took my bag


“Wae?” Minzy asked


“Just follow what I said!” I ordered her.


“Minkki, just follow her, okay?” Bom said


I saw Minzy nod. Right now, I don't care about our performance later at Inkigayo. All I care is Ji. He's sick, I have to take care of him. I don't know what have gotten into me but there's a voice inside my head says that I should take care of him. I took my car keys and started the engine of our car. Suddenly, I remembered our first meeting after 3 years of not seeing each other.



[Flashback]



Dara was in the gym exercising when somebody opened the door.


“Oh!” Dara paused on what her doing and bow 90 degrees and greeted Ji 


“Anneyeong Ji sunbae”


“What the Ugly Duckling are you doing?” Ji looked at her irritatingly


“Just greeting my sunbae” Dara innocently answered. 


She knows Ji hates it when she does that


“You know I hate those things”


“I know”


“If you know, why are you still doing it?”


“Nothing?”


Ji sighed “btw, how are you?”


“I'm fine. Excited about our comeback. You?”


“Same. Its good to talk to you once again... after how many years? 3 years?”


“...” Dara couldn't answered what he said and just let him continue what he's saying


“I kept sending you messages through me2day yet you're not answering it!”


“I was... busy”


“Busy my BEEP! I don't know why you left me and not contacting me for 3 Craking years! Haven't you considered what I felt at that time?” Ji shouted. 


Its good that no one's here inside


“I... should go now” Dara stood up “we still have to record our new songs”Dara went out of the room and went to the comfort room and cried.

As soon as she parked the car, she took her bags and rang the doorbell.


“Oh! Dara, its you!” Ji's mom greeted her


“Auntie, I heard that Ji's sick, is he okay now?” I asked.


Of course I'm worried about him, we're... family


“Yes he is, but the doctor said he should take some rest more” his mom said as she arranged her bag


“Auntie where are you going?”“Oh, I was going back to our house to get some things but I was worried that no one will take care of Ji. So I will just get it quickly but since you came... can you take care of Ji for a while?”


“Oh. Sure, no problem. um.... he's still on the same room right?”

“No worries!”


“Oh, Dara, you don't know how thankful I am for taking care of Ji right now. I know that you're busy yet you didn't forget to drop by and ask how he is and I also know about your--”


“Auntie, its okay besides we're on the same company and we're family!”


“Oh.” Auntie paused “I probably should go now. Dami's waiting for me”


“Ooh! Dami unnie? Auntie please tell her my greetings!” I said as I followed her


“Don't worry, I'll tell her. She probably wanted to see you but since you're busy maybe not right now” She said as she closed the door.


“Okay... now what to do?” I think for a moment “I know! I can cook him a porridge!”


I went to the kitchen. I was about to prepare the porridge when I saw that Auntie already cooked for him. So, I just took a bowl and spoon for him together with water and his medicine. I put it on the tray and went to his room but before I entered I saw Gaho looking up to me. I was hella scared, I didn't know if Gaho would still remember my scent or whatsoever but he did! He didn't barked at me when he sniffed my clothes and tugged me towards Ji's room.


“Shh. Arasso, arasso” I talked to Gaho as if he would understand me


I opened the door and placed it in his table. I went to him and touched his forehead


“Hmm... you're not sick anymore” I muttered “do you still need me?”I was about to go when he held my wrist tightly


“Ji! It hurts!” I winced “let me go!”


“Dara! Don't leave me! Please!” he said. Is he awake?


“Ji! Let me go!” but he didn't move his hand


“Dara! Please! Don't!” He pleaded


“Ji! I said let me go!” I pulled my hand roughly and walked towards his door but something stopped me as I felt a pair of arms hugging me from behind


“Don't leave me again... please stay even just for awhile, baby?”


Baby. Baby. That name. He just called me baby, isn't he?


“I... can't.... I still have to go back and perform” I said as I struggle on his grip


“Baby, please stay... please? I need you in my life...”


“I can't!” I said as I struggle once more


“I...” he paused “I still love you, baby... I missed you so much that I almost went crazy, there was never a day that I wouldn't think of you, baby... those Craking 3 years, I searched for you... please, don't leave me anymore.... I still love you baby...” he said.


I faced him and I noticed the tears trying to escape from his eyes. I never stopped loving you, Kwon Jiyong... I too almost went crazy not having hear you say 'baby'.


“I never stopped loving you...” I said and with that, I crushed my lips on to his.


Our kiss was fill with longing to each other. We both long to have each other once again... we broke our kiss because we need some air.


“Promise me you'll never leave me again” He said as his forehead touch mine while cupping my face with his both hands.


“I wont... I promise I will never ever leave your side again” I promised.


This time, I will fulfill it. I will never ever leave your side once again...
