“Xiumin ge!”

Xiumin turned around in the halls just in time to feel a familiar person practically glomping onto him in the middle of the hallway “Aish Zitao you’re so heavy! You’re going to squish me!” Xiumin playfully teases, earning himself a light slap on the back of his head, courtesy of Tao. “Shut it ge. Now let’s go!” Tao puts his arm around Xiumin and they continue walking through the halls towards the lunch eating room

“Is Kris and the rest of them there already?” Xiumin asked the panda beside him “Mmm I know Kris and Lu Han are, the others are still coming” “Oh”

“BOO!” A light brown haired person jumps on both Xiumin and Tao, causing the two to topple over in the hallway. The boy laughs so hard he clutches his stomach “You two looks so funny!”

“YA OH SEHUN!” And the maknae is off, running down the hallway

“I can’t believe you guys are in Uni. You should be in play school or something” Lay says chuckling, helping the two off the floor

“Whatever Xing-Xing. Sehun-ah come back here you crazy maknae!” Tao runs so fast in a heat to catch the culprit

Xiumin giggles “Honestly were still immature kids hey?” Lay smiles at his ge “Of course we are. Now let’s get going”

“Hey I heard a new student enrolled this morning” Wu Fan or better known as Kris tells his group of friends “Really?” panda Tao says from beside him

“Yeah I heard so too” Sehun says, arm tightly around his boyfriend Lu Han “Do you guys know his name or anything?” Lay asks, playing with his phone. “Hmm his preferred name is Chen but I don’t know his real name” Kris explains

They all turn to look at Xiumin who is quietly eating “Aren’t you excited Minnie? Ooh maybe we could befriend this new guy!” Tao exclaims excitedly. Xiumin finishes up his food and chuckles “Yeah sure. I have class now so I’ll see you guys later” “Hey Minnie, why do you attend photography classes? You told us that you’d tell us but never did” Tao inquires. Xiumin smiles at the bittersweet memory

“That one looks real good hyung!” Jongdae takes the newly printed photo Minseok took a couple days ago of the sunset in Korea “Your photography skills are no joke, honestly”

Minseok gently smiles at the boy before him “Thanks Jongie”

“Hey hyung?”

“mm?”

“Promise me you won’t let your talent go to waste yeah?”

Minseok grins “You think I could major in this?”

“I know you can major in this hyung. Promise?”

“Okay. I promise Jongdae-ah”

“I made a promise to an old friend. Anyway I’ll be going yeah. See you guys” Xiumin ruffles Sehun’s hair before stealing an apple from Lu Han and walking away “YA!” Xiumin waves to his friends and chuckles while walking away, knowing very well that Lu Han will not let this go

“Are you sure this will be okay?” Kyungsoo asks his friends as he drops off the boy at the front of Seoul Arts University

“Yeah. I finally found him, after all these years Kyungsoo. And I’m going to get him back” Kyungsoo smiles a soft smile to a friend his known for years, knowing very well of the pain he went through of not knowing and always wondering, dreaming, hoping. Now his chance has come and Kyungsoo knows very well that his hyung should not let this chance slip

“Want me to come with you while you enrol?” Kyungsoo asks as he watches his friend hop out of the car

“No it’s fine. I’m starting tomorrow so I doubt I’ll see him today. Thanks for dropping me off, you should go back to Jongin now hey?” Kyungsoo’s friend chuckles as he sees Kyungsoo’s cheek flush “O-okay yeah sure. I’ll see you!”

And Kyungsoo does one final wave at his friend before driving off

The boy turns around to stare at the large building behind him “Just you wait hyung. Finally I will be able to see you, and I’m not going to let you disappear from me” he grins to himself “You can do this” as he slowly breaths in, and out, he grips tightly to the satchel around him and walks calmly into the University

“Morning hyung!” Xiumin turns around to see Lay and Lu Han walk in. “Oh hey guys” Xiumin greets them

They’re in the dancing studio, readying themselves for today’s lesson. Sehun is two years younger than them so his been enrolled into a different dance class

“Is Kris’ rap session this morning or in the afternoon?” Xiumin asks his friends

“Afternoon. Tao is here though for his Wushu class and Sehun-ah has a dance class in two hours” Lu Han informs them

“Good morning class!”

They all watch as their Sunbae’s walk in

And in unison the class bows “Good morning Mr Kim and Mr Lee”

“Aish these kids remember we don’t like formalities. Just think of us as your own peers so it’d be more comfortable to get to know one another arasso?” Mr Kim explains “Now greet us again” he says laughing

The class laugh together “Morning Key and Taemin”

Key and Taemin nod at one another then smiles at their class “Better. Now shall we start?”

Xiumin walks out of the dance class having stayed there an hour longer after class ended. His already freshened up and are now walking through the Uni a simple polo shirt and jeans with his white Nike. Taking out his IPod from his pocket he busies himself with untangling his earphones when “Oof!”

Xiumin stumbles back a bit as the person he bumped into reaches out and grabs him by the waist to steady him “A-ah sorry” Xiumin says surprised “its fine. Heh haven’t changed I see, besides your appearance that is” the voice takes Xiumin aback and he entangles himself from the person’s grasp

The person easily releases him and Xiumin looks up. He gasps as he looks at the person before him. “Hey Hyung” he greets easily as if they’ve always been so close to each other after  all those years. “You” Xiumin doesn’t know what to say. The boy’s grown taller and his face has matured, his cheekbones are strong and his jaw is framed tightly, his also gotten more masculine. But his eyes and that smile haven’t changed at all, so has his fragrance. And much to Xiumin’s dismay, his heart hasn’t changed one bit, because it still strongly reacts

“Long time no see Minseok-ah” the person says breaking the silence.

Xiumin takes a deep breath

“Jongdae-ah”
