--CHAPTER 2--(Feeling Protected)

..>Jjong’s POV<..

It was already late night.

I can’t sleep.

I’ve done all kinds of positions but still, I can’t sleep.

I can’t take away Key from my mind.

Aww man… It was already 12 midnight…

I went to the kitchen for some midnight snacks.

“Groookkkkee…Psheeewww..Groookkkee… Psheeewww..”

I can hear Taemin-ah’s snore from his room up to the kitchen.

‘He’s a heavy sleeper huh!’ I thought.

I opened the fridge and saw a Chocolate Cake. Aww man. I love Chocolates.

After I ate my midnight snack, I played with my PSP and watched music videos of SHINee.

When I looked up to the clock, it was already 5:30 in the morning.

“Gotta wake up Minnie.” I said with a sigh.

“Minnie, wake up! Minnie wake up! It’s already 5:30 in the morning.” I said while shaking his shoulders as he did to mine yesterday.

“Oh, Jjonghyung. You’re too early huh! I can’t believe you woke up earlier than me hyung.” He said while scrubbing his eyes.

“Come on! Let’s have some bacon and hot chocolate.” I said with energy.

I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the kitchen.

“Go. Cook some bacon for me as I make some hot chocolates for both of us.” I said.

“Ok, hyung!” he said while stretching his arms.

The scent of the bacon scattered in the whole kitchen…

‘what a wonderful scent’ I thought.

After eating our breakfast, as usual, I took a shower, brushed my teeth, etc.

It’s now 7:00 am and I’m now going to the university. I think I’m early. Too early.

“Taemin-ah, do you think I’m early?” I asked.

“Yes hyung. But I think that great! For the first time you’re early.” He said cheerfully.

“I can’t sleep last night.” I said.

“So, it means that you didn’t sleep last night?” he asked.

“Yeah. It’s just because someone can’t get out of my mind. I think….uhmm..I..I..I’m…” I said

“In Love?” he asked.

“Uhhmm..Maybe.” I replied.

“Yeah! My hyung is In Love!!! My hyung is In Love!!!” he screamed happily.

“What’s that noise?” oh, my umma asked beside the door.

She’s dressed up from head to toe. Is she going somewhere?

“Oh… nothing Madam.” Minnie said talking to my umma.

“Ok. By the way, Jjong!” she said facing to me, “I’ll be out for a month or two for our vacation trip in Europe. Please be good.”

“Uhh..umma, Is appa coming with you?” I asked.

“definitely.” She replied.

“Ok, I’ll be good umma.” I said.

‘YEEESSS!! This month should be the greatest month EVEEERRR!!! I’m now FREEEEEEEE!!!!’ I thought

“Taemin-ssi, please take care my son Ok. Never leave him by your side.” She said to Minnie

“Yes Madam.” He replied politely.

“Ok then. Bye.” She said waving her hands to me and heading to her personal car.

“Let’s go Minnie.” I said and headed to the car. My personal car.

After 5 minutes of traveling……..

We’re now in the gate of the university.

“Minnie, do you want t go inside the university?” I asked Taemin-ah

……

(no reply)

“Minnie, do you want to go inside the university?” I asked again

……

(again, no reply)

I look up to Taemin and

I saw him staring at someone.

“Minnie, who are you staring at?” I asked then looked to where’s he starring at.

“Aww. You’re staring at Minho huh!” I said ticking him.

“His name is Minho? What a beautiful mane to a handsome guy like him.” He said blushing

“Do you find him attractive? Do you like him?” I asked

“Oh no…” He said hiding his blush…

“Ayyiee… You’re blushing.” I jokingly said to him.

“I’m not blushing…” He said with his eyebrows meeting ,“I’ll pick you up after your class ok.”

“Ok Mr.Soon to be Choi.” I said while laughing. He blushed again.

I headed to my class without looking to my locker.

“Good morning ma’am.” I greeted the old oldold adviser of us.

“Good morning Mr. Kim. You’re early huh.” She said.

“Thank you ma’am.” I replied.

I saw Key seated in the chair beside mine.

“Oh, you’re early huh.” I talked to him.

“I didn’t missed the bus.” He smiled to me.

‘Aww man. His killer smile again!’ I thought

“Do you slept last night?” he asked curiosly

“Aww…Y..Yes.. Why?” I replied

“because you’ve got big eye bags.” He said laughing..

“are these eye bags obvious??” I asked him while he’s still laughing.

“Haha!Aww . Sorry for laughing at you… They aren’t obvious… But still you look handsome with than or even without.” He said smiling again.

I blushed…. As in… He really said that I’m handsome?

“Ohh.Jjong, why’re you blushing like a cherry tomatoe.?” He asked.

“I’m just touched.” I replied

“by…?” he asked again

“you said that I’m handsome.” I blushed again

“and that’s true.” He proudly stated

“thank you Key.”

…

(silence came between the both of us)

…

…

…

I grabbed the opportunity to asked him to a date again.

“Uhhmm.. Key, do you want me to… uhmm..ahh.. go lunch with you… My treat.” I asked shyly

“Why not.” He cheerfully said

‘Yeah…Wooohooo!!!’ I thought with matching fireworks and confetti’s

CCCCRRRIINNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bell rang indicating that classes should start.

Our old oldold adviser is now starting the lesson but I don’t care.

I’m not listening ‘cause Key’s on my mind and I don’t know what are we going to talk about lately in our date. I’m nervous yet very  veryvery  excited.

Discussion’s done. The bell rang.

Before the students go out, the old oldold adviser shouted,

“Class, there’ll be no classes this afternoon because all teachers will attend to the wedding of our beloved Principal!”

The class Shouted for happiness. !!!

LUNCH TIME!!!!

Woohooo!

I waited Key outside the door of our classroom. While waiting, a girl with a long hair came in front of me and asked “Are you Kim Jonghyun?”

“Yeah, why?” I reaplied

“You’ve got a lot of love letters and chocolates in your locker!” she said then walked out.

How come? I asked myself for that but then, Key and I must go to the cafeteria for our datet.

Key’s now walking towards me. “Uhhmm.. Key, Can we first go to our lockers before going out?” I Asked.

“Yeah, sure.” He then smiled at me again… I think I’m gonna die for this smile.

I headed to my locker which is not too far from Key’s. I was shocked!! There’re lots of love letters and chocolates… Some of the cards are saying that I’m so handsome and hot but some are asking for a date… I don’t like these… I then threw them to the trash can near me.

I pulled Key’s arms towards the gate…

“what’s wrong?” he asked curiosly.

“Did you see those love letters?? They’re all trash… See, they made my locker a trashcan.” I replied angrily (but I’m not angry to Key)

“It’s ok bro. It’ll be fine. At least many girls out there love you.” He said comforting me.

“Thanks Key.” I said hugging him tightly.

I can smell his scent… How lovely is he… I feel I’m protected when he hugs me back.

..>Key’s POV<..

I don’t know what’s happening to Jjong. Isn’t he happy for having lots of secret admirers?

Well then. I hugged him back. I feel I’m protected when he’s on my side.

I hope Jjong also feels that.

“I love You Jjong.” I whispered softly so that he couldn’t hear.

I hoped he didn’t hear that.

After that moments of us, we headed to the cafeteria.
