I slowly headed towards the door and looked in the peep hole.

Standing behind my door was a guy around my age.

He looked kinda cute, but at the same time his face was all dirty and covered in dirt.

"Who is it?" said Joongki.

"I don't know this person..." I muttered.

I walked away from the door, thinking the person was just a salesman.

The bell rung again.

But this time it consecutively rung three times.

Sighing, I took a broom. Just in case this guy was a murderer or something.

Maybe it was just my imagination but I think I heard a few girls screaming outside...

I know right? Freaky.

Joongki stopped what he was doing to look at me.

He stood up, silently, making sure that he didn't step on the tools on the ground.

"Are you sure you want to get it?" he whispered, concerningly."Want me to get it for you?"

"No, it's okay. I've learned karate before." I said, smiling at him.

He chuckled.

I headed back toward the door again and unlocked it.

"Hi," the guy said as I opened the door,"You're renting out a room, right?"

I looked at the guy, gaping at his torn clothes. His hair was all messed up, sticking out from all directions.

"Uh, yeah," I said consciously.

I could feel Joongki right behind me. He was standing so close to me, I could feel his shoulder from my back.

Boy, was he protective!

"Come in," I said, happily, "I'm Song JiHyo."

This person's going to be the first person to rent the room !!

I was really happy until I studied closely at his outfit.

His clothes were even worst than my COUSIN's!!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

Well, atleast I won't have to be sent back home with my parents.

Joongki was behind me with his warm and soft hands on my shoulders, holding me close to his chest.

"Hi. I'm Jonghyun. Can I rent a room for a month?" he said, eyeing Joongki's hands.

He looked like he was broke but he was also the first person to rent the room.

I decided to give him a discount.

It's not like I'll be actually getting any renters any time soon.

"Ummm...," I stuttered, "How much do you have? I guess I can lower the price for you a bit."

"No, it's okay. I can pay full price. How much for a month?" he said without any worries.

"400," I said, trying my best to give him the lowest price.

The hobo gradually took his wallet out from the back pocket of his jeans.

His wallet looked EXPENSIVE.

Did he steal it!?

Before I could even think about anything else, he swiftly took out $400 and handed it over to me.

I stepped forward to reach for the money, just when I remembered that Joongki was still behind me.

Joongki was still standing behind me with his hands on my shoulders, protectively.

I took the $400 out of his hand, and accidentally touched his hand.

It felt soft and warm. Even though it was kind of dirty, his hand felt just like a baby's skin.

Oh shoot.

Forgot to show him the room first. Dang.

"Don't you want to see the room first though?" I said.

"Yeah, I guess so. Sure." He said, casually.

I led him to the room on the left hand side.

"This is your room," I said, pointing in the direction. "If you need me, I'll be out in the living room."

Joongki smiled at Jonghyun and led me out into the living room.

He pretended to work as he watched Jonghyun slip into the room.

"Are you really going to let this guy stay with you?" Joongki whispered in my ear.

I shrugged. "Well it doesn't really matter."

"Well isn't it kind of dangerous to let a stranger into your house?"

I laughed.

"Yeah, cause nothing can be more dangerous than a stranger with a HAMMER in his hand." I said sarcastically.

Joongki looked down at his hand. "Oh."

He put the hammer down and reached for my hand.

Blood rushed to my face.

"Joongki," I stammered.
