Two girls were in the same room, with same expressions, same words said, same fight, and the same reason. LOVE.

They became like this after being together for 4 years. They have been fighting with the same reason, lack of trust. They doubt each other; they misunderstand, they get jealous easily, and worst? They are both breaking each other to the point that they need space for each other.

The only problem is that not one of them wants to end this hopeless relationship, all because of their hopeful hearts. Even with the misunderstandings they still love each other, at least that’s what they are saying.

“Yuri-ah. Please talk to me. Don’t be so stiff on me. And I’m sorry for judging your closeness with Jessica. I’m still not used to seeing you both like that.”

The pleading girl was holding on tight to their teddy bear while still hoping for another chance but looks like the numb girl she is pleading to is tired of all the sick games.

“You’re still not okay with our closeness?? We have been this close even before you loved me! She is, well in fact, MY BEST FRIEND! And she was there to comfort me whenever we fight. But now, you made her hate me and leave me JUST. LIKE. THAT!”

The furious girl was about to leave the room before she heard the other girl cry. Her cry would just be the last thing she would want to hear from her girlfriend. She really loves her that she would put aside her pride to give the comfort and love her girlfriend needs.

“Yuri-ah… please. I need you.” She said the last three words with so much guilt and sincerity just to beg Yuri.

Yuri is impulsive yet with just one whining, or begging from Yoona, she would do anything for her girlfriend, even if it takes away her happiness.

Yuri sighed, “Okay. I’ll do anything, just don’t cry anymore.”

Yoona didn’t stop crying so Yuri rushed back to her tired girlfriend to hug her and comfort her.

Yuri knew she lost again because she promised herself to give up Yoona for some time to find her happiness. She was getting tired of all the stress due to their relationship so she needed time and space.

“Baby, please. I really hate seeing you cry. I’ll forget what happened just promise me that you’ll stop getting jealous over my friends, because if you do, not long from now I’ll have no friends.”

Half exaggerated, half true. Every friend of Yuri, close friends or new, Yoona gets freaked out that she threatens these people to stay away from Yuri.

“Don’t leave me. You know I can’t live without you. No one loves me but you.”

Yoona tightened her hold on Yuri as if that would help in making Yuri stay with her.
Yuri, who was fighting herself to control her emotions, started to let loose and kissed Yoona tenderly on her forehead. It was the only time she stopped her sobbing.

“Aish. Silly girl, I won’t leave you, ever! You know that. I just need some time to escape these pains. If I hold it inside for a bit longer, I might have a heart attack.”

Yoona looked up to Yuri to see the tears swelling in her eyes.
When she saw a tear has already escaped, she quickly kissed it away.

“I won’t leave you, that would be my only promise to you.”

Yuri inched closer to Yoona so she could taste her lips.

“I love you, Yoona.”

“I love you too, Yuri.”

It has been a week since their last fight with each other. They have been sweeter even in public these days. Before, they were both scared to show who they really were, but now, they just simply can’t stay away from each other; especially now, Yuri knows their days are limited.

“Yuri-ah, I’m glad Jessica already forgave me and became close to you again.”

Yoona was smiling widely while Yuri only showed a weak smile. She doesn’t have the strength to smile because her remaining strength was only enough to tell her what she needs to say.

“Is something wrong?”

“No, maybe I was just still tired from last night.”

Yuri chuckled while the other girl was as red as Rudolf’s red nose. She blushed suddenly after hearing Yuri’s naughty comment.

“Yah! Don’t say that aloud. The others might hear us.” Yoona whispered loudly so Yuri can hear it clearly.

“What? They don’t know what we did last night anyway.”

Yuri was using her seductive tone making her poor girlfriend blush even more.
She just laughed seeing Yoona like that.

“Yuri, stop it.” She said full of embarrassment

“Okay fine.” Yuri said forcing to stop her laughter but still couldn’t manage.

“Let’s go to the rooftop. I missed our times there.”

Yuri was starting to get uneasy because it was in the rooftop where she will tell Yoona the truth.

The time was perfect for the sunset, making it more romantic. They always go in the rooftop to watch the beautiful view because they really love sunsets.
The wind was blowing fairly enough to make the sunset cooler. The wind blew their long, black hair slightly, perfect for the view.

They sat in the bench they personally placed there. It was decorated by both of them with pink heart pillows and green alligator plushies.
Yuri sat in the middle and tapped her shoulder signaling Yoona to place her head there.
She placed her hand on Yoona’s waist and placed her head on top of Yoona’s. They stayed that way just like many times before.

“I missed this. And I missed you.”

Yoona said oblivious to Yuri’s expression.

Yuri forced a smile and breathed heavily to remove the guilt from her.

“Yoona…”

“Hm?”

They were both quiet for a while before Yuri broke the hug to look straight into Yoona’s eyes.

“I’m going to America to continue my studies there.”

Yoona looked straight into her eyes and gasped but nothing else came out from , her eyes told everything what she was feeling.

Hesitant, Yuri continued to break the heart of her girlfriend.

“We’ll be leaving the day after tomorrow.” 

“We??? Who are you with?”

“Jessica and I would study together in America.”

“You don’t even know how to speak English!”

Yoona was starting to get angry for keeping this from her.

“Yoona, calm down. I think this would be best for you, for me. Us.”

“Better?? You think this would be better for us??? What the hell are you thinking!"

“Yoona please, I’ll be back, maybe after 4 years. Just wait for me.”

“4 years?? Do you know how long that is?? Do you know how many things might change in that 4 years??”

“Then change all you want, I’ll still accept you for who you are when I come back.”

Yuri’s tone of voice showed a hint of disappointment. She was expecting this fight but she was also expecting Yoona to understand. She just wants their future to be better.

The furious girl suddenly lost all her strength and broke down in tears but Yuri caught her just in time.

“Why did you tell me just now? You should have told me earlier so I could prepare. Plus, you promised me you would never leave me.”

“I did, and I’m keeping that promise. I would never leave you because I’ll leave my heart to you while I’m studying. Only you would be the person inside it.”

Yoona was hiding her face in Yuri’s neck and Yuri knew that she has stopped crying.

“I’ll be back. Wait for me.”

Yuri kissed her girlfriend passionately before hugging her again and watched as the sun continues to set.

“Yuri, don’t you dare look at other girls, or else.”

Yuri laughed for a while but stared intently at Yoona.

“Of course I won’t. You too, don’t you dare look at other boys, or else.”

I knew I shouldn’t have brought her here. These thin Shikshin is unbelievably heavy! Now I’m having a hard time to bring her down this building aish!

“Good thing this same building is where Yoona stays.”

It was already midnight and Yoona unintentionally fell asleep while cuddling with Yuri.

Yuri carried the shikshin on her back while going down the 23-story building.

“This is my very lucky day indeed; I just remembered Yoona’s space is in the 7th floor. Great.” Yuri, almost out of breath, said sarcastically.

Yuri stopped in front of Yoona’s door bathing in her own sweat, almost soaking her clothes and even Yoona’s. She was breathing heavily to catch up on the beating of her heart.

“Mmmmm… Yuri-yah, you smell… awful! Yuck!” Yoona jumped off the back of Yuri, obviously joking while pinching her nose to tease Yuri.

“Yah! I wouldn’t have been this stinky if I didn’t carry you from the rooftop until here in 7th floor! You should thank me instead of complaining there!”

Yoona stepped closer to Yuri when she started crossing her arms and pouted.
She placed both her hands around Yuri’s waist and hugged her closer. Yoona inched her face closer to Yuri’s ears to whisper.

“I was just teasing you, you know? Whatever filthy animal you smell like... oww, hey I’m not yet done. However bad you smell, that doesn’t change my feelings for you okay? “

Yuri was so stiff and didn’t move from where she was and was heating up madly.
Yoona moved away from her before smiling after seeing Yuri blushing.

“You still haven’t changed since we’ve been together. That’s why I love you so much.”

Before Yuri could even have the courage to reply, Yoona kissed her in the lips tenderly. Yuri, in reply, placed her arms around Yoona’s neck and returned the kiss.
They kissed as if it was their first time, full of innocence, sincerity and full of pure love.

They were both blushing when they broke the kiss, Yuri looked away from Yoona to hide her shy smile while Yoona looked away trying to hide her sly smile.

Yoona continued her plan, she moved closer to Yuri while using her hands to seduce her girlfriend. She s her hands through Yuri’s .

She stiffened some more when she felt the connection between them. They haven’t done it yet because Yuri was kinda. Err innocent?
Yuri was hesitant at first but since she was leaving, she gave in and satisfied Yoona. She hugged Yoona closer and kissed her tenderly at first before it started to heat up when Yoona opened the door to enter the room for their privacy.

They stopped in front of the bed and gazed at each other lovingly, as if assuring each other that they will be gentle and do it affectionately.

Yuri caressed her girlfriend’s cheek softly,

“I love you, Im Yoona.”

“I love you too, Kwon Yuri.”

Yuri then laid Yoona on the bed carefully while owning not only Yoona’s body but also her heart and soul.

“Yoongie, let’s go to that store over there.” The tall girl pointed to a colorful store.

“That’s an ice cream store, are you hungry already?”

“No, I just want to try their ice cream, with you. Then let’s stroll in the park.” She smiled sweetly to let Yoona agree.

“Silly kid. Okay let’s eat ice cream.” Yoona grasped her girlfriend’s hand and kissed her lovingly in the lips.

Yoona was in the rooftop of the apartment she stays in with her girl.
They were both watching the sunset while sitting on their bench, decorated with pink heart pillows and green keroro plushies.
The shorter girl pulled her taller yet baby girlfriend, who was hugging a keroro doll, in a hug. She placed her head on Yoona’s shoulder to relax a bit.

“Yoongie…”

“What is it, hyunnie?”

Seohyun eyed Yoona with curiosity and anxiety.

“I was just wondering… what if Yuri unnie is back, what would happen to us?

Yoona was taken aback by Seohyun’s question because she wasn’t prepared to leave Seohyun. She wasn’t prepared to talk with Yuri or even see her.

“I don’t know.”

“Unnie, should we break first? I mean when she comes back, so you could tell Yuri unnie.”

Seohyun tightened her hug to Yoona because she was holding on her tears. She doesn’t want to leave Yoona just yet.

“No, you don’t need to leave me. Sigh. I’ll tell her when she comes back.”

Yoona looked at seohyun and wiped the tear that escaped from her Hyunnie’s eyes.

“Don’t leave me too, okay? I don’t know what I’ll do if you leave me too.”

It was now Seohyun’s turn to kiss away the tears from Yoona’s eyes.

“I won’t, yoongie. I won’t leave you. I love you.”

“Thank you, hyunnie. I love you too.”

Their faces were inching closer and were about to kiss when Yoona’s phone suddenly rang.

“Hello? Yes, this is Yoona speaking.”

Seohyun immediately looked away and to hide her blushing face. What Yoona can’t see was that she was smiling shyly at the same time naughtily.

“May I know who is on the other line?”

Seohyun was still imagining what could have happened when she noticed Yoona isn’t talking anymore.

She saw her girlfriend’s mouth wide opened and speechless making her curious and at the same time worried.

Yuri was wearing a brown hoodie to cover her disappointed and bad mood.
She was sitting patiently and calmly with the help of her iPod. Music was her company when Yoona is not around. It was her second drug to keep her alive.
She loves listening to music that is able to interpret her current feelings. And right now she was listening to Will You Wait For Me by Kavana.

“She doesn’t even recognize my voice anymore. I guess many things could happen while I was gone. I’m just waiting for 4 years to be ready for the next stage of our relationship.”

She took a small black box from her pocket and was touching it gently.

“She could have waited a bit longer for me, for us… for our future.”

She was lost in her small world and didn’t notice she kissed the box as if it was Yoona, bading her goodbyes.

“Yuri-yah, are you c-crying??”

She was quite taken aback and surprised to see Yoona so she immediately wiped her tears.

“Uhh, I was just moved by the song.”

She didn’t even hug me she just simply… tapped me, as if we were just friends… no, more like strangers. Maybe I should be the first to hug her, she has Seohyun anyway. Maybe she is just not used to me anymore…

Yuri hugged Yoona to show her how much she missed her. Also how much hurt she was when she knew about them.

“Didn’t you miss me? You just tapped me as if I’m not your girlfriend.”

Yuri broke the hug and forced a smile especially when she saw Yoona’s expression. Yoona winced as if Yuri’s words were stabbing her heart for a million times.

“Of course, I do. It’s been four years, you know.”

“Nope. It’s 3 years, 46 weeks, 2 days, 8 hours and 53 minutes. Did you know how much sufferings I spared just to see you again now?”
Yuri hugged her again so she wouldn’t see the tears from Yuri’s eyes.

“I was supposed to go home next month, but I can’t take it anymore. I really miss you, Yoona.”

There was silence because Yoona didn’t know what to say. All of a sudden, she wanted Yuri back. But she also wants to be with seohyun, the person who didn’t leave her.

“I know I shouldn’t leave you alone here, but I studied out of country to enhance my skills. So I can work properly and sustain our needs when we get married.”

Yuri knew Yoona didn’t expect what she said by her sudden movement and her gasp.

Yoona broke the hug so she could look In Yuri’s eyes and assure what she heard.

“Married? We’re getting married??”

Yuri again forced a smile, now giving hints to Yoona.

“That is only if you still want to. Only if I am still the one in your heart. Am I? I mean, still that Seobang for you?”

Yoona was speechless, dumbfounded by what Yuri said. Yoona knew exactly what she wanted to say. She already knew that she has Seohyun. She already knew that it would be possible that Yoona wouldn’t choose Yuri over Seohyun.

“Yuri-yah, how did you know?”

“Krystal, she told me everything but that isn’t the thing here. I know I shouldn’t do this but it’s already hurting me like hell. I told you to wait for me, but you didn’t. I know it’s hard to be loyal but how come you didn’t manage to be when I did?”

“Please don’t let me choose… I love you both so much.”

Yoona was now starting to cry so Yuri hugged her almost immediately.

“I also thought that if you would fall for someone, it would be a man better than me, but why? Why does it have to be Seohyun? Why does it have to be my sister?”

“Yuri-yah, sorry. I’m not that good in holding my emotions. Please, don’t let me choose. Wait for me, I’ll think about the answer.”

Yuri closed her eyes to let the tear, longing to let go, escape. She was angry, but at the same time heartbroken.

At times like this, she doesn’t know what she is doing. She is a very impulsive person and might die rather than see her love cry.

She mentally cursed herself for being so blinded by love. She trusted Yoona so well, she didn’t think of what might happen in their long distance relationship.

She broke the hug after deciding what would be best.

“Yoona, if you’re happy with Seohyun, then go. I’ll be you friend to support you when you need me. I’ll be glad to take all the pain from you just so you could be happy. I love you that much that I don’t know what I’m still doing here. I should just let you be with your girlfriend and should not have come home in the first place.”

She forced a smile and added even before Yoona could reply,

“I wish you find true happiness with Seohyun. Tell me if she hurts you or anything. I’ll be you friend.”

“Yuri-yah, are you sure? I don’t want you to suffer because of me. I want you to be happy too.”

“You’re my happiness, Yoona. Wherever you’re happy, I am too.”

Yoona can’t hold on her tears and cried. She hugged Yuri tightly as if it would be the last time.

“Sorry for what you had to go through. I promise I’ll be happy for you.”

Yuri smiled weakly with the pain that she felt in her heart. Deep inside, she was already dying from all the pain she had to experience in just one day.

God, why did this have to happen to me? I wish you could hear me and save me from this hell!

“Yoona, this would be my only favor from you, I wish you could hold on to this somehow.”

“Sure, after all the things I already put you through. Whatever that would be, tell me.”

“Promise me you won’t hurt my sister. I love her as much as I love you. You were my only family. So please.”

Do I really need to say this? Can’t I just die now?

“Of course! I’ll do my best not to. Thank you so much, I’ll go and tell Seohyun what happened.”

Yoona flashed a smile, her most beautiful one, before turning around and leave when Yuri suddenly grasp her arm and turned her to face her. At a split second, Yuri kissed Yoona in her forehead.

Maybe this would be my goodbye to her.

Yoona looked at her quite shocked but smiled after knowing her motives for doing it.

Maybe it’s her way of saying goodbye to me.

She now left Yuri and ran home for Seohyun.

Why did it have to be me who will be hurt like this?? I loved them with all of my heart, but now this heart can’t love anymore because it’s already torn into a million pieces.

The only chance to make this thing work again is to give it to someone more deserving than me.

This would be the last day to enjoy myself, after this I won’t be feeling any pain. I should send Seohyun a text message to at least tell her things before I forget everything.

Yuri hasn’t finished her sentence yet when she heard Jessica running and screaming her name as if a maniac was chasing her. Or a cucumber would do.

Yuri was joking but looks like Jessica isn’t.

“There is. Chasing. Someone. Hurry.”

Yuri didn’t understand what she said but when she heard someone running she pulled Jessica behind the big maple tree before pulling some tall grass near them and covered .

“Is someone chasing you?”

Jessica just nodded because her hand was still covering .

“Where have you been anyway? Who is that?”

Yuri whispered so only her can hear. Jessica just shrugged while holding on tightly on Yuri, shivering from fear of what could happen to them.

Yuri peeked to see the maniac holding a gun. Yuri was now starting to be alarmed but she didn’t show Jessica because it might make her scream more.

She tried to think of something that would make that man disappear but she knew he wouldn’t leave that easily especially when he knows that Jessica went their way.

It’s getting harder for Yuri to think especially that she doesn’t know this man.

Jessica was struggling to get out of hold from Yuri. She bit her hand softly to let her notice her struggling.

“Oww! Why did you do that?” Yuri whispered slight loudly making the maniac look their way.

It was now Jessica’s turn to cover Yuri’s mouth. She signaled Yuri to quiet down because the maniac might hear them.

Jessica stared at the slightly old man. He was in average height and dark complexion. He doesn’t look like a Korean, Jessica thought.

After a minute of thinking, she remembered where she saw this man. He was the bummer in a club in America trying to buy Jessica’s body for one night.
She remembered kicking his shin before running away and never came back in that club.

She already thought of what to do. She pulled Yuri down on her to make it look like they are making out. She took Yuri’s hands and placed it on her waist.

“Daniel oppa…” 

Jessica moaned making Yuri quite shocked of what she did. She just played along and lowered her voice.
The maniac heard her moan and came closer, curious of what they’re doing.

Yuri’s statement made the old man walk nearer preparing for what to do next.

Jessica was laughing silently at Yuri’s attempt to make her voice like a man but only succeeded in doing it like a teenage boy’s voice still going on puberty.

“Of course I like it. But what if someone hears us?”

“No one would hear us here for sure because my body guards are around here to secure us. If maniacs will go here to watch our live performance…”

Jessica blushed and slapped Yuri lightly at her choice of words. It was your idea after all, Yuri whispered.

“They will surely catch that maniac and beat him to death. I ordered them to bring some NBI with them too to bring him in jail immediately.”

Yuri made her voice louder so the maniac can surely hear it and she was successful, that maniac ran for his life before “Daniel’s bodyguards” would catch him.

Yuri now stood after making sure that the maniac is gone. She pulled Jessica with her and dusted off her clothes.

“Great idea, Blonde.”

Yuri winked to show her compliment to her best friend.

“The name’s Bond, not Blonde. Anyway, thanks to me were saved.”

“Excuse me, but if it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t be chased by him in the first place.”

Jessica pouted because she was about to ask for her reward for saving their life.

“Ugh, why do I always need to reward you for saving me from something?”

“Maybe because I’m your best friend that loves you so much??”

“Fine. What do you want?”

Jessica pointed on her right cheek and tapped it a couple of times after seeing Yuri’s blank expression.

Yoona peeked to see Yuri’s message and Seohyun suddenly started sobbing, touched by her unnie’s love and care for both of them. Even Yoona was smiling weakly showing a hint of sadness.

After reading, Yoona hugged her girlfriend to comfort her and assure her it’s not her fault.

“Hyunnie, it’s not your fault okay? She also made her decision and she wants us to be happy. Let’s just let her be. I’ll be her friend and you’ll be her sister. We will be her family.”

Seohyun nodded showing that she wanted her unnie to be happy. She kissed Yoona lightly in her peck before dozing in her arms.

“I wanted to ask you a favor.”

Jessica was more worried than confused with what Yuri said.

Jessica sighed. Not sure if it would be for better or worse.

“How about Yoona and Seohyun?”

Yuri was taken aback and didn’t know what to say. She didn’t want to leave the two but she thought about her happiness too.

She didn’t want to feel any more pains. She just wants to end everything on her.

“Jessica, I realized, someone deserves my heart better than me. I know it’s given to me but if it only experiences hurt and sadness, then it would be better if I give it to someone else.”

Jessica hugged Yuri to hide her tears. She doesn’t want Yuri to leave just yet.

“Okay. I’ll do this. I’ll take care of Seohyun and Yoona for you, okay?”

Yuri forced a smile and took something from her pocket.

"Also, give this to Seohyun. Tell her to think of something special when she will propose to Yoona."

Yuri handed the small box to Jessica. Jessica was starting to cry when her best friend suddenly hugged her.

“Thank you Jessica, you’re really my best friend.”

"Don't forget to pray for us when you get up there, okay?" Jessica joked and used her index finger to point upwards, pertaining to the heaven.

They chuckled for some time before dealing back with their business.

"Take care, Sica. Take care of my family, too."

"I will. I hope you find your happiness."

And with that she rode in the car and stepped on the gas.

A man in long white gown appeared in the room.

“I’m sorry. There’s nothing we could do.”

The couple started crying but Jessica stayed strong for her dongsaengs.

“She is a donor for transplants and she requested that her heart be given to a person with heart failure and we found that person. Now I’ll just have to let one of you sign here for agreements.”

Seohyun stepped closer and volunteered. She is her sister anyway.

Jessica showed her clenched fist as if showing Seohyun to fight for their love.

Seohyun just forced a smile and took the small box. She started to sob when she saw the ring.

"Thank you, unnie. i'll take care of this, and especially Yoongie."

Why did she have to beg me to stay with her when she will be the one to leave me?
