Minho is tall, dark and handsome, and even rather smart, which makes the general crowd intimidated by him. Perhaps it was all of these things that made them so frightened of Minho, but maybe that was why he was considered cold-hearted.

But anyone that knew Minho, even just a little bit, would know that under that intimidating exterior came a rather happy guy who loved to visit a certain cute café.

Taemin, on the other hand, was a cute, lovable happy guy that every girl looked up to but also envied; he was all prettier than them. Blonde locks of hair perching cutely on his head, and bright eyes that would make anyone happy, of course he was also an outsider.

Taemin thought it was all very idiotic, how normal people—what even counted as normal anyway?—would ignore the people who were nice and worked hard; they tried too hard. They were never really nice, of course.

If you were a good person, of course you’d be out casted like these two were. I mean, who would want to compete with someone genuinely nice?

Cold-hearted, they thought Taemin seemed, because he was apparently too nice for a human to be, but Taemin found this extremely stupid; being a little bit nice doesn’t kill anyone.

It’s like this at school for Taemin, and he doesn’t like it one bit, and the only two times of day he likes are when he’s sleeping and when he’s at work.

Taemin works in a small café; his getaway. He loves the smell of the strawberry cake they sell there, but oddly, no one seems to buy it, though there are rumors around the café staff that there’s a customer that always buys it, and that intrigues Taemin to no end. He only wishes to see this person once, because frankly, it seemed like only he and the mystery guy liked this magical strawberry cake, which probably deserved more love than it had.
