Minwoo is just a 17 year old boy who's parents died when he was 15. He lives with his little 8 year old sister. Though she was very young when her parents died, she stall remembers. With her being only 6 when they died, things were hard for the both of them. Minwoo swore to himself that he'd take care of his little sister and never let anything happen to her. Minwoo also has very helping friends that his sister Junghee gets along with very easily. They would often come over to babysit when Minwoo has to work. His friends have also found jobs of their own to help support the two young children. One day, Minwoo decides its time that he moves in with his friends into a bigger house. It'd be both better for him and most imortant to him, better for his sister. They move into a five bedroom house up close to the woods but not quite all the way in the woods. 

What happens when a injured creature finds its way not only into the house, but also...into the childrens' hearts. Junghee thinks she finally found a best friend who is always there and makes her laugh. Yes. A chimpanzee. A few weeks in the house and the kids notice that the monkey was actually using some sort of communication.
