Minho had spoken to Taemin only a few times in the past.  He was an interesting guy, Minho thought.  He would have liked to be friends with him.  Unfortunately, the younger boy often seemed to be avoiding him.  It was hard to tell what was going through that kid’s head.  Sometimes he’d come up to Minho and strike up a conversation, and other times he’d run away when Minho tried speaking to him.  That made it rather difficult to befriend him.

He hadn’t been planning to give up, but a recent turn of events left Minho with no choice.  Taemin didn’t come to school for several days.  Minho asked about him and found out that he had transferred schools.  He was surprised, and disappointed when he realized what this meant.  He couldn’t be friends with the other boy.

He would miss him, but after all, they hadn’t really been that close.  He’d probably forget about him before long, right?

Or maybe he wouldn’t.  A few days later, a girl (omo, a really pretty girl!) transferred into the school, and she bore a striking resemblance to Taemin.  With someone so similar around, was it possible for Minho to forget Taemin?

Maybe he could befriend this girl.  He wouldn’t mess up this time; he was determined.
