Korea 300 A.D - The Great Kingdom of Ju, bordering the Hangaeng River.

The great Kingdom of Ju has always been revered as a wondrous, albeit questionable, nation. Questionable because a few of their practices were unheard of at the time. Practices that had worked for generations, but ones other countries did not dare to try.

One of their practices of commonality were in accordance to the royal family. And it was one most nations found and looked at with awe.

For centuries, the royal family had always designated the second child as the heir to the throne. The second child of the royal family would take their place beside the King and Queen at a young age, gaining knowledge about country affairs and becoming acquainted with nobles, magistrates, neighboring King and Queens, and so forth.

But then, what happens to the eldest child of the royal family?

The eldest child is brought up by several different people. Each specializing on different areas, all useful for the child's future role in  kingdom...

To protect and aid the heir to the throne.
