Though I've never heard of the saying 'if you make 1000 cranes you get a wish,' the plot of the story really impressed me. It was well thought out and it was sad at the ending, and who doesn't love  a sad story?

However, I'd like to take note on the author's grammar. I understand that the author may not be American or maybe English isn't her first language, but it kind of irritated me and disrupted the smooth flow of the story. Another thing I'd like to point out is that I didn't really understand the time of the story. Sometimes I would have to question myself on whether the story was being told at that moment or if Key was remembering what happened. For example, "When I open my eyes, I realized my thoughts are always of MiKyong..." Instead of saying the whole sentance in past tense, the author said both past and present tense. Instead of saying 'were,' she said 'are.' hal he wholeying theInstead  

Another thing that I noticed was that the story is lacking depth within the characters. After reading the story, I noticed that there are only three characters in total. Personally, I expected the story to have a lot more characters in it due to the fact that it's a chaptered story, but that's just me. I think if the author put more characters, the story would've been a lot more interesting and a better read.

Back to the good notes: The story line is very creative and not usually something the average writer would think of, which is a good thing. It's a pretty good tear-jerker, especially if you're Key bias :) props to the writer that nearly made me cry at the end ^__^ keep working at it in the future you can  make a knock-me-out-of-my-chair-while-blowing-my-pants-off story :D
