That morning I entered the room and there was Dara already sleeping or maybe just spacing out, I took my sit fast and she don't even move

"Good morning Lee" I heard her voice 

"Hi.... Dara" I said a little scared of her 

the teacher entered the room and everyone stand up for greeting him except from Dara who just stared at him annoyed 

"So.. let's make this easier for me... who didn't bring the book?" The teacher said with a sarcastic look. Dara started looking on her bag, she didn't bring the book... I grasped and moves my book towards her table and then I stand up 

" I didn't bring it sir" I said looking down at the table, he groaned and took out his long ruler

"you know the rules Ms Lee.. i'm kind of disappointed of you, but well.... hands against the board" and he pointed to the board, i walked and did what he told me, closing my eyes. The pain of the ruler hitting me came fast, I tried to not scream.. I have to act strong in front of Dara.

After the teacher hit me he told me to go to my place and never forget my book again.

"I told you... you don't have to do that" Dara whispered to me 

"... I won't let anyone hurt you" I whispered as well, she stared at me for some minutes and I felt her had grabbing mine 

"Thanks Lee" she said and she rested her head again on the table but not letting my hand go

After school and after going to the library for making homework I walked out from school with my headphones on. when I walked out from the building a hand grabbed mine and interlocked our fingers

"Hi Lee... " she said walking next to me, I took away my headphones and stared at her with a weird look "You stay at the library for a lot of time" Dara said as she drive me to somewhere. I stopped

"Dara, I have to go home, omma will get worried" I said and dara giggled

"Call her silly¡" Dara said taking out my phone from my pocket, I called my mom and told her I had to teach some friend and she believed me, Dara was standing just there with a cold look

"I'm done unnie" I said walking closer to Dara

"Okay, let's go... I know a place where you can buy me dinner" she said as she walked to somewhere

"I can buy you something?" I said worried because I don't have a lot of money now

"Ok ok... i buy you dinner, but hurry pabo¡ it's freezing" she said hugging herself, I got worried for her and I took my school jacket away and I put it around her shoulders, covering from the cold

"Here you have, it may warm you up" I said and she blushed

We had dinner and she pay all , she didn't let me even buy the drinks, she wanted me to enjoy dinner, it was quite akward but dara was really fun and charismatic and somehow very shy 

"Humm Chae... can I ask something?" she said as we walked towards my home

"Yes" 

"Why you protect me? Everybody hates but you seem to like me" she said blushing

"I don't really know, just feel like protecting you....." I said and she giggled

"You like me chae?" she asked and I freeze... like her? like friends?

"Hul¡ what do you mean?" I said shyly and she laughed

"I like you Chaerin, a lot....." she stopped, we are in front of my home, she smiled at me and then kissed my check "I have to go, good night..." and then she walked away leaving me in my place freezing, I wanted to say I like her but I am too weak, I saw her turning and then running towards me, I trough she wanted to hug me but when she graphed her arms around me, I felt how she covered with my school jacket "See you" and I felt her lips on my neck lightly and again she ran away

"Dara¡...I like you¡" I said but it was too late, Dara has disappear...
