Later that night, we came back into our same hiding spot the night before and watched quietly. I had hoped he wouldn't stay in the living room at all, but he had decided to try out the new 'seat' and plopped down.


The box immediately broke and he fell onto the floor painfully. My friends laughed and I couldn't help but laugh along. It was...kinda funny. Hoya growled and threw the red cloth off of it. He picked up the cardboard and slammed it back on the ground, "Stupid !"


He went upstairs and we all ran out of the place. We all hunched over and tried to catch our breaths as we looked at each other and laughed. Dara raised her hand and hi-fived me, "That was funny but not painful right?" I nodded, "Yeah. That was funny unnie!"


Bom waved her hand in the air, "Woo! Well come on, let's go home and celebrate on ________ finally playing along with us!" I smiled and followed MinJi and CL into the backseat. After everyone had seat-belted, Dara vroomed off!


That night, just as I was about to get into bed next to MinJi, my phone rang with a text. I picked it up and flipped open my phone. I opened the text; it was from Hoya. It read: "Let's talk tomorrow. My place at 2. Come alone because this is personal matters." I felt how much heart started to beat faster. Hoya wanted to meet me again?! Was he finally coming around and going back to normal?

The next day, after we watched Hoya leave, we all snuck in. We immediately ran upstairs and CL popped the disc into her portable laptop as we all crowded around to watch.


At around 10PM, Hoya came into the bathroom and brushed his teeth. He didn't seem to notice the spiciness at first, but after a few seconds into brushing, he immediately spat it out. The other four immediately bursted into loud laughter. I couldn't help but laugh along. I had to admit, it was kind of funny to watch.


After he brushed his teeth with real toothpaste, he took out his shaving cream. CL and MinJi couldn't even hold in their laughter even though he didn't even do anything yet. When Hoya finally put the whip cream onto his face, he smelt it. "What the ?!" he said as he tasted it.


He immediately washed it off and sprayed out some from the can. He tasted it and growled, "What the is this?!" He tossed it into the trash and washed his face thoroughly.


We all laughed and cracked up even harder when Dara started imitating him. But we stopped when we heard the front door open, we all went dead silent. CL scrambled to turn off the TV and we all listened.


We heard Hoya sit down on the sofa and released a relieved sigh since we knew he wasn't coming up here. Bom nudged me and whispered, "Go down there _______. Didn't you say he texted you to meet up?" I hesitated and nodded, "But he said at 2. It's barely 11:46." Dara butted in, "Just go ________. If you don't go talk to him, we won't ever be able to get out of here."


The other two encouragingly looked at me and I sighed in defeat. I straightened up and walked down the stairs casually. Hoya looked up in surprise and stood up immediately. "Oppa—" "________," he said. There was a small awkward pause. When I left that night, he hadn't known I did. Not only that, but we separated on bad terms.


Hoya stepped forward, "_________ I wanted to say I'm sorry for everything I've done to cause you pain." I gave him a small smile and shook my head, "Oppa it was my fault. I'm just glad you're not mad at me anymore." Hoya held out his hand, "Then let's end it here okay? I don't think we're right for each other." I felt like he had just stabbed me right in the heart.


"What?" I took a step towards him and hugged onto his arm, "Oppa why? What did I do wrong?" He moved away and shook his head, "You didn't do anything wrong. It's just...I don't think I have the same feelings for you anymore." I looked at him, hurt and shocked. "Oppa," I mumbled, "So are we really breaking up?" He looked away and nodded.


I smiled and wiped my tear, "Heh. It's okay oppa. I just hope that you'll be happy now that an annoying person like me is out of your life." I rushed past him and ran out the door. I didn't know where to, but anywhere was better than here, where my heart was.


I stopped and looked up. My legs finally gave in and I collapsed down onto the grass. I placed a hand over my chest and cried. Oppa, why? I thought you said you loved me! Even now, I can't say I hate you! This doesn't make any sense!


After a few minutes of crying, I finally managed to get to a bench and sit down. The cold wind breezed by and I shivered. The cold was chilling, but the coldness that Hoya gave me was even worse. I rubbed my arms and wiped my tears. I gave myself a small smile, "No use crying over spilled milk." I got up and turned around. I paused and looked a them.


"You got that right," MinJi said with an encouraging smile. Bom squeezed my shoulder, "Don't worry about it. He wasn't worth it." Dara smiled, "We'll get a new boyfriend for you in no time." CL smiled, "You wanna see something funny?"


She held up her phone and played the video she had recorded. Hoya was standing facing the sofa and frustratedly rubbing his head. Suddenly something black crawled down in front of his face. "Aaahh!" he shrieked girlishly. I managed to smile in amusement and CL patted my back.


"Guess what else?" MinJi asked. "What?" I nodded. MinJi bit her lip and then smiled, "When we walked out, Howon got another fright since he didn't know we were there." "Aaahh!" Dara and Bom imitated him. I laughed and smiled genuinely, "Thanks unnies! You guys are the best!" They smiled and shrugged, "We know!"
