“Do you know that story, or rather, that myth about angels who fell and became vampires?” a petite girl asked the crown in front of her who all shook their heads. She smirked to herself. “Legend has it, that if an angel falls from Heaven, he will become a vampire and gain immortal life. Immortal, yes, but they are also accursed. For an angel, becoming a vampire is the worse. Even after hundreds of years, the vampires still try and gain entrance to the Paradise,” she said.

                One of the reporters looked at her and raised a hand. With a gesture, he was told to stand. “Is that myth true? Or is it just fiction?” the girl looked at the reporter and smiled before smirking. She slightly lowered her head and smiled. She clasped her hands together. Looking up, she said, “You’ll never know, whether it’s true or not,” she smiled, stood up and did her farewell before leaving. The crowd watched as the lady in red disappeared through the darkness.

                With one swift snap of her fingers, the crowd immediately fell into an abyss of sleep. Smiling, she looked up the black sky. “It’s true. It will always be true,” she muttered. With elegant white wings blooming from her back, she arched her back and jumped from the building. “Flying, it’s what you always dreamt it was, only, much better,” she said as she disappeared into the night.
