Chapter 1 : Are you Sure you Hate me?

Summary: Kwanghee and Siwan wander around a cementery

that has hidden secrets awaiting them.

 

 

The Cementery’s mystery

 

 

One night at Children of Empire’s dorm the guys were hungry. Some of them wanted to buy food outside, so they were desiding on who was going to go while the others wait but Kwanghee wanted to go to a Galbi restaurant nearby, the problem was that to get there, he has to pass through the cementery but he doesn’t want to go by himself.

 

 

“Siwanee... please go with me!!!” said Kwanghee with his hands on top of Siwan’s and moving them side by side.

 

 

“No way!...if you want to go there, go by yourself!” said Siwan pulling his hands away.

 

 

“but i can’t Siwanee please come with me, i’d die if i go alone” said Kwanghee while pouting with a sad expression while Siwan rolled his eyes annoyed by it.

 

 

“Ok i’ll go, but stop doing that!” he said while walking fast to the door to get over with it, he didn’t really want to bother but he had no choice.

 

 

“Hey! We have to go together!” said the older one as he hurried to get to the other one who was now a little far from him, he could see him from the distance, he was seriously very fast walking, so Kwanghee had to run to reach him, when they were finally walking side by side, the older one started to talk again.

 

 

“Why did you just leave me behind?” said Kwanghee as he turned Siwan, who was looking at another direction, to see him frontwards.

 

 

“To get there fast, the problem is that you’re too slow” said Siwan by defending himself selfishly without even knowing the older one’s real intentions were, until he told him.

 

 

“But Siwanee...i wanted to spend the time by walking beside you, not running until my breath brakes... ever since we debuted there was no way to be with you as we did before, i feel like we are separed now even though we’re together as a group, i can’t talk so often with my bestfriend, so would it be too much to atleast share a small time in the way to the restaurant?” said Kwanghee a little hurt by Siwan’s rejection towards him, even so he kept staring at him while talking, as the younger one heard him talk, he noticed the shine in the other one’s eyes and the hurt sound on his words.

 

 

“Look, i know... we don’t play as much as we did before, i acknowlegde it’s been a while since we talked alone, but you can’t just do things as if you knew everything was going to work as you planned.. think a little bit... if you just told me, it would be easier to understand, now we have to pass through a cementery just because you wanted to eat, damn” said Siwan annoyed by the though of having to go such a long way.

 

“But the Galbi there it’s really good... i really want it...” said Kwanghee still complaining until they finally arrived to the cementery’s entrance.

 

 

“uh.. well...this is the entrance of the cementery, right?” asked Siwan in a dubious way, because it looked as it was locked, there was a huge lock and a really fat chain holding the steel door.

 

 

“Of course!...but it seems like it’s locked..” said Kwanghee while touching the lock with his hands and looking at it carefully while the younger one replied.

 

 

“That’s for sure, you idiot! But how are we supposted to...” tried to say Siwan when he heard a loud boom noise, something like an explosion followed by a strong gust of wind as he crossed his arms above his face and closed his eyes. After ten seconds passed the wind vanished.

 

 

“Ok, now we can go...” said Kwanghee as if nothing happened, smiling at the younger one who was a bit dumbfounded by what he did not long ago.

 

 

“Hugh? Why did you just do that? i told you to not use your abilities in public! If anyone sees it we might get into trouble!” said Siwan a little upset but tried to let it pass.

 

 

“Oh come on! None’s here by this hours anyway” said Kwanghee starting to walk through the door,  taking Siwan by his wrist with his hand, guiding him inside, just after they entered, the door was blocked again.

 

 

They were walking in circles, it seemed like they were wandering around in a big maze. That was a problem now because none of them knew where was the exit, either how to go back, so they were kind of lost in that huge cementery. They were surrounded by mist. It was not only scary but it was so cold there, they were freezing themselves, the older one took advantage of this and linked arms with the other one with the excuse that he was cold, as the younger one was cold too, he didn’t even complain and just stayed near him. 

 

 

“I’m so happy right now, i wouldn’t imagine i was going to be like this with him in such a gloomy place, but what matters is that we’re together, nothing matters if he’s with me...”  Kwanghee thought to himself, but when he touched Siwan’s hand, it was too cold, more than it should be, it was as cold as an ice cube and his body was changing it’s color from pale white to almost light blue.

 

 

“Siwan!! Siwaaaan!! How did you get so cold?” asked Kwanghee very worried about his sudden state, just then Siwan couldn’t say anything more than “How am i supposed to know...” while shivering, at the time he said that, he inmediately fainted, hopefully kwanghee caught him before he fell to the ground, right after that, Kwanghee took off his coat and put it on Siwan, he took him in his arms and hugged him with one hand placed on his hair and the other one in his waist, he was trying to make him warm again by physical contact, also he was transfering part of his energy to him, so that he can survive, although this might decrease his powers, he’s willing to do it because of Siwan. While doing that an orange light surrounded the two, as the younger one was getting warmer. After a few minutes, hopefully his color was returning to normal little by little, it was even better, he had blush on his cheeks, he looked very handsome, Kwanghee was glad about that, he thought he was going to lose him, so he did his best to keep his best friend alive.

 

 

When he opened his eyes found himself in Kwanghee’s arms, he wasn’t sleeping but he couldn’t open his eyes because of how cold he was before, he was deeply moved by the older one’s actions, he really cared for him a lot, he was already feeling sorry for the way he talked to him. “Even after being treated like that, he protected me...” he thought to himself at the same time he rushed to hug him back and thanked him for saving his life. When this happened Kwanghee’s eyes widened when he felt Siwan’s arms around his shoulders, he wasn’t expecting it from him to do that, it was even more shocking to hear him say “I’m sorry” so suddenly, those words were so sweet to the older one, he melted just by hearing it, at that moment, he tried to say something but his words were stopped by a grey hand that appeared infront of his eyes, it was three times bigger than his head, right when that thing was going to rip his head off, Siwan pulled him by the collar of his shirt while running as fast as he could. When they arrived at a safe place they were planning what to do about what just happened, even though they weren’t still sure about it.

 

 

“Errm... i know this is going to be dangerous but i think we have to go separately this time...” said Siwan after thinking about it and waiting for a reply.

 

 

“Are you crazy? If we do so, we’ll die!!! and.... i don’t want you to die Siwannie...” said Kwanghee staring at his eyes in worry.

 

 

“Kwanghee...do you trust me?  Asked Siwan out of nowhere making his friend perplexed by his sudden question in a moment like that.

 

 

“Uh...of course i do...but...it still worries me to think of ever leaving you behind... it could be dangerous...” said Kwanghee while playing with his fingers unsure about it, the younger one who noticed this, took his hand and shook hands with him while he said to him...

 

 

“Trust me...i’ll be okay...and you too, so for now, farewell...” said Siwan before he left the other one who was holding his hand tight and slowly let go with a sad look.

 

 

A few minutes later, he saw a dark figure from a far, he was wondering who it was, since there was none except Siwan and him, he felt a little scared because it probably could be any kind of person like a crazy man or psyco, he was afraid he could die. Luckily it turned out to be...

 

 

“Siwanniee!!! What are you doing here? Didn’t you say it was better to go separately?” asked Kwanghee really puzzled about his best friend’s appearance, some how he looked kind of different, didn’t look as expressionless as usual, actually he looked like he was very happy to see Kwanghee, thing that made it even more strange for him, because Siwan normally doesn’t seem very happy around him most of the time but now he was hugging his and smiling like a child that missed his dad.

 

 

“Yeah but i missed you so much!!!” said Siwan with a y voice, weirdly enough for Kwanghee who was too confused to reply as he would normaly do.

 

 

“But you left for only ten minutes, it wasn’t that much...” said Kwanghee trying not to pay attention to Siwan’s words.

 

 

“Uh? Don’t you love me?” said Siwan walking towards him and trying to slowly get closer to him.

 

 

“Ah...Siwanniee...of course i...i love you!! Even more than what you think...” said Kwanghee almost losing the control.

 

 

“Then should we...” said Siwan getting closer to his mouth in an atempt to kiss him but Kwanghee stopped him at the right moment when they were almost touching lips and opened his eyes quickly.

 

 

“Nooo... this is not my Siwan...he’s not like this!!!” shouted Kwanghee holding both of his hands on his head while a long blizzard surrounded him in circles such as a whirlwind, this made the other one’s cover to to unfold, his eyes turned red as his appearance became darker and his fangs could be seen now, the identity for this false Siwan is a female demon.

 

“Kwanghee... Kwanghee... Kwanghee!!!” those words said by Siwan’s voice echoed in his head, he inmediately hurried to go where he was, he sensed danger, so he ran all the way trying to scape from the demon and to get back with the younger one.

While at the same time...

 

 

“It’s not like i didn’t have a plan anyways...he’s just so coward... also, this the only way i can easily find the exit, i’ll find him later, i hope he does well though, i’ll do my best too...” said Siwan while walking around and watching carefully at every side, not letting his guard down. As he walked through a darker area, he found a door, it was covered by moss, he didn’t care about that, he just wanted to get out of there. When he was about to open it, he was stoped by a dragon-like figure that made him levitate, so that they can see each other face to face.

 

 

“Seeya again Siwan ssi... it has been a long time since we met each other...” said the monster in a strangely feminine voice that was kind of familiar to Siwan.

 

 

“What do you want, you bastard!!!” said Siwan in an incredible brave and tough manner while quickly moving around, trying to free himself from the monster’s invicible grip. 

 

 

“Huh! It’s not a surprise, your the same disrespectful kid i met before, you haven’t changed at all” said the dragon like thing with an angry expression.

 

 

“You talk too much!!! Just shut up!! You freaking beast!!!” he said trying to leave the talk for later while looking around constantly.

 

 

“Oh... so that’s the way you want it hugh? Then, you leave me with no options...” it said as a familiar figure appeared floting infront of Siwan, it was Kwanghee.

 

 

“Kwanghee...what!!??” said Siwan when he looked at Kwanghee’s eyes, the look on his eyes was very sad, the youger one was surprised when the other one told him...

 

 

“You left me...Siwanniee...” said Kwanghee as the monster pulled and took him with his fangs and strangled him to death, the blood was falling to the ground as Siwan was in shock with his eyes and mouth wide open, trembling because of the horror of that violent scene he was watching.

 

 

“Kwanghee... Kwanghee... Kwanghee!!!” said Siwan while tears dropped from his eyes, still in disbelief about the happening. After ten seconds passed, he looked back at the monster fiercely and saying “You’ll pay for this!!!!” right after saying this, he jumped in front of the moster and threw six black balls that he had between his fingers and ran as far as he could before those bombs would explode. A loud boom noise could be heard fifteen seconds later. On the way, he encountered with Kwanghee who was also running to find him.

 

 

“Are you okay Siwannie? I heard you call my name and i...” tried to say Kwanghee at the time the younger one looked at him with a sad expression almost starting to cry again.

 

 

“Thank God i wasn’t fooled by that lame ilussion...” said Siwan while his voice was craking and tears started to drop once again, when the older one saw him he couldn’t help but hug him, “It looks like he was bullied by the ghosts too” he tought to himself.

 

 

“If i would have been fooled by the ilussion, we both would have died, i knew this was going to happen, that’s why i desided to go by myself so that he didn’t have to suffer from something like that, hopefully, i got to know where the real exist was, i found out while i was floting, i saw it from the distance, i’m happy that my plan succeded” thought Siwan to himself.

 

 

“Let’s go before something else happens” said the younger one, slightly smiling at the other one, who smiled back and followed him to the exit.

 

 

“Ok... here we are...” said Siwan before fainting, Kwanghee who was beside him, took him in his arms and opened to door the same way he did with the other one, later when they got home, the members were worried not just about them but also about Minwoo who was motionless, lying on the sofa with both of his eyes white...
