Song Yuki became an orphan the day she was born. Her mother died during the delivery and upon knowing that her mother was pregnant, her father left them. She was sent to an orphanage in Tokyo a month after her birth in Osaka Hospital.

After 5 months, a man who is soon-to-be the Vice President of SMEntertainment, one of the largest entertainment and talent companies in Korea, went to Tokyo to look for peace after his wife and daughter died in a tragic car accident. He was Mr. Song Min Ji. He came across the orphanage and saw Baby Yuki in one of the nurseries. "Yuki?" he asked the nurse. "She was born in Osaka on Winter Season... Her mother died of delivery and her father probably left them. 'Yuki' means snow in Japanese." the nurse answered him. "I want to adopt her."
