After setting the date for the two, with Seunghyun’s help, she decided to spend some time at a beach…
Her sanctuary…
The night was cold…the sea breeze…the sand…everything was relaxing…
But she felt colder thinking that she’s alone now…
Without her knowledge, Seunghyun was watching her from afar.
Even though he really doesn’t like kids, he still kept his promise to Kiko…
He promised that he will silently look after Rae Rim...

Just then two figures enveloped her into a warm hug…
She cried and cried…knowing the familiar warmth that covers her…
“I thought I lost you” Jiyong spoke.
“I’m sorry” was all she could reply to the man whom she thought her father for fourteen years.
“Don’t ever do this again…Do you think we will be happy without you?” Dara asked.
“I don’t deserve you and Dad…and besides I’m dying”
“Silly girl, who said you’re dying?” Jiyong asked as they pulled out from the hug.
“My doctor sa-”
“Your doctor said he’s sorry that he misdiagnosed your condition” Dara cut her off.
Rae Rim tilted her head, with a creased forehead.
Jiyong chuckled, “You don’t have a cancer baby…you’re healthy!”
She looked at Jiyong and Dara, contemplating whether her father is telling the truth or not.
The two laughed at her cute behavior.
“Aigoo, baby we’re telling the truth”
Now, Rae Rim smiled then a thought which struck her.
“Aunt Dara did you say yes to Dad?” she asked.
Dara nodded which earned a loud scream of delight from Rae Rim.
She then hugged Dara and Jiyong.
“Thank you Dad…Thanks Aunt Dara”
‘Thank you Eomma, I hoped I fulfilled your last wish’ she thought to herself while looking above the sky.

Few days after….
While Rae Rim was preparing for an event, she found a time to continue Kiko’s voice message again.
“HE WAS HERS…
AND SHE WAS HIS…
LONG BEFORE I CAME IN BETWEEN THEM…

Then her mind went back to the time when she first met Seunghyun,
*FLASHBACK ON RAE RIM AND SEUNGHYUN’S CONVERSATION*
“Kiko died on a mission…a mysterious hired killer named Choi Yong Seok murdered her”
Rae Rim cried for a while before asking Seunghyun, “Where’s her body?”
“We only have her ashes for you”
“Thanks” then she went off.
“Where are you going?”
“To the beach, Eomma will like it there”
*END OF FLASHBACK*
“Baby, are you ready now?” A voice brought her back from her reverie.
“Yes Dad!” she kept the recorder inside her bag then went to check on Jiyong.
“You looked handsome Dad” she added.
“You think your Aunt Dara will like it?”
She nodded, “You’re the most handsome groom of them all!” she grinned afterwards.
“And Dara is the most beautiful bride of them all” Jiyong added.
Then the church bell chime, a cue that the wedding is about to start…

When it was their time to exchange vows, Jiyong cried his eyes out first before reciting his vow…
Still couldn’t believe that it was all happening…today is the day.
His lifelong dream will to come true…
It just felt surreal to him…
Dara watch him in awe…
She felt overwhelmed by everything that’s happening to them…
She could only smile to the man she loves, with shaking voice, reciting his vows before her.
Jiyong’s vow
I could promise to hold you,
And cherish you every day of my life
In sickness and in health
I could also say ‘till death do us part
But I won’t
Because those words are for hopeful
and optimistic ones
I am not hopeful,

I committed some mistakes in the past…
Some problems.
