Chapter 1: Memories
Living in the winter seasonKim Hyerin stared at the vast midnight sky, ominous and dark. Her cheeks felt wet and she realised that hse had been crying for the past
few minutes.
" Why am i crying?" she pondered as a grimm smile tugged at the corners of her lips.
Hyerin was an orphan, alone and never had a single friend in school until a man..... A man by the name of Nam Woohyun came to her aid.
They had become the best of friends and Hyerin had started to fall in love with him slowly, deeper and deeper. She fondly remembered the
day that she confessed to him, the day she was finally accepted. The happiness that overwhelmed her. But she would never forget the apin,
the misery of him shunning her. The day they broke up.
Tears gathered up in her eyes, as she tried to hold them back.
" It's been two years and i have still not forgotten you. Your memory continues to stay by me, haunting me every single day and night. I
really miss you. I miss that intense gaze that melts me. The warmness of your chocolate brown eys that fills me with so much gratitude for I
feel as though I'm never alone. Those lips so soft and gentle, tasting like sweet maple. That soft and silky hair that never fails to fall neatly
into place. Your strong and iron-willed character and lastly your demeanour. You are the one who keeps me going. But now? It's all
gone...." She mused as tears ran down her pale cheeks.
She curled into a ball, leaning against a tree as the musky smell of impending rain swept past her. Gusts of chilly air carressed her face
and sent her hair flying in different directions.
" Why is it so hard to forget but so easy to remember?" she croaked as rain fell, happy to be released at last... from the torment.
Rain started pelting on Hyerin as though as there was no tomorrow.
A shadow emerged from the darkness.
