At the back of the school building Rina found herself crying. She felt uneasy. She wanted to escape the world from this kind of humiliation. There's nothing wrong with nerds making friends with hot guys as what she believes but now, she felt like it was a mortal sin.

 

As she tilted her head up a little, she saw a white hankerchief being offered to her by a hand. she traced her looks on the hands and found it being connected to a body. As she saw the owner of the certain hand, a thought suddenly crashed her mind

'a member of alice nine'

So she suddenly burried her face on her hands which was wrapped around her knees.

''go on take it...'' hiroto told her, as if ordering her to do so.

As she did not make any sign that she's going to accept his offer, he seated himself on the ground to and tries the best as he could to take a peek on her face. Still offering her the handky.

'' go on, it's not like you're going to die when you accept it.'' hiroto persisted and at last she gave up.

Well, not really gave up, she just need fresh air so she lifted her head and then Hiroto suddenly whipped her tears away.

As he does this, she suddenly held Hiroto's hand that wipes her face. What she really intended to do was to get the handky from his hand because she could do it herself but it only ended up to be them holding hands.

''uuh.. Ano, sumimasen.'' She babbled bowing her head and closing her eyes tightly, not wanting to see his expression on his face.

Then she heard him laugh a little. She looked at his face with questions written on her expression.

''you know, you look cute when you cry.'' hiroto said smiling

''huh?''

''mmh! Hai. But you look pretty when you smile''

It send currents running down on her spine as she heard this.

 

''nani?? What are you talking about?''

 

he just smiled on her. questions still written on her expressions.

a minute of silence, they both sighed.

 

'' i saw what happened.'' Hiroto blurtted out.

 

She looked away. Probably embarrased to know that another member saw it.

 

''baka'' rina mumbled.

 

''what?''

 

''baka! Baka! Baka! Baka!''

 

Again, she started crying. Remembering the earlier events.

Hiroto just hugged her tightly and whispered sorry.

 

'' go on, cry now. If that'd make you feel better. Give it all out. You can cry on my shoulder''

 

they've been quiet for like 5 minutes.

Rina stopped crying.

 

'' are you better??'' Hiroto suddenly breaked the air of silence.

 

'' i guess so. I don't know. I think i just need some time to think'' rina aswered quietly.

 

'' wakatta.''

 

'' just once.''

 

''what?''

 

''i've talked to him just once. I thought he was my friend. I can't believe he just sees me that way. I never should've expected that I can make friends with high level students'' rina said. Looking up in the sky.

 

'' the sky is lovely'' Rina said. Trying to change the topic.

Then she lied down. Feeling the soft grass on her back.

Then Hiroto lied down, too. They were both facing the sky.

 

''Hai. The sky is clear. Such a fine weather.''

 

'' i wish I can just stay here forever. Away from everyone. They're fake.''

 

'' well, you can have me.'' hiroto said smiling.

 

Rina sat up. She smirked on what Hiroto said. Thinking it's just another lie.

 

'' yeah right. You're talking with me now. Then you'll humiliate me tomorrow. You're just some guys who don't care about other's feelings. Having good looks doesn't give you permission to hurt other's feelings.''

 

''i'm not that kind of guy.'' Hiroto sat up, too.

 

''all guys are the same.''

 

''no where not. If we are, then why are girls so choosy? Hmmm?'' Hiroto said. Trying to defend himself.

 

'' i don't know.''

 

Hiroto suddenly moved his lips closer to Rina's face. She closed her eyes tightly.

Seeing how Rina reacts to the situation, Hiroto smiled. Tilting his head up, he kissed her forehead.

 

She was shocked. She froze.

 

''haha.. Cute expression, ne!''

 

''what was that for?''

 

''because I like.''

 

''what gives you the right to do that?''

 

''because I wiped your tears away?''

 

'' I didn't ask you to....''

 

She halted when she sees Hiroto smile.

 

'' I just thought you needed someone to comfort you''

 

'' well, mmmmmmmmm... Arigatou''

 

Then Rina let her head lay on Hiro's shoulder. Just observing the beautiful scenery of green.

Shou searched for Rina.

He was about to comfort her when he saw Hiroto with her,

 

he had tingly feelings of jealousy. But he thinks his friends just made an obstacle and it's just a challenge to him.

 

'' hmm. Real smart. But i'm winning this bet'' shou smirked as he turned about and headed home. Thoughts filled his mind.

 

'the first time we met, she didn't like me. But to hiro, she was nice. I must have better approach next time. I'm winning this bet. I wonder what i wanna get?'
