To Krystal, Sulli is a monster.

Sulli is loud, bubbly and just about everything else Krystal isn't. That is why Sulli looks more like the maknae and not Krystal.

The image given to Krystal by the company is charisma. She is supposed to be calm, collected, charismatic and also, to give off a subtly y vibe. With winks and smirks here and there, along with lopsided grins.

Sulli on the other hand is cute, innocent and pretty. Sulli can speak her thoughts directly and not get reprimanded. (Krystal always has to think twice, no, thrice, before she even opens .)

Krystal envies Sulli (because who wouldn't?)

But Krystal doesn't envy Jinri (because why would she?) Sulli earns the cheers from fans and the stares from guys, not Jinri.

Never Jinri.

(She doesn't get jealous at Jinri. Instead, she loves Jinri.)

Because when Jinri stumbles through the front door of their dorm, just after filming, when her face is free of make-up, when she's thoroughly exhausted but her eyes still twinkle, Krystal can't stop herself from loving the slightly older girl.

(And when Sulli is on stage, giving plenty of eyesmiles to the crowd, Krystal can't help but feel jealousy and distaste.)

When one night, Jinri snuggles up to Krystal, Krystal can feel her breathing on her neck. It sends tingles, sends her heart racing a little bit because this is not what friends are supposed to feel for each other. The girl ignores her own racing heart and places an arm around Jinri, pulling her closer.

(That can wait.)

Right now, all Jinri needs is Krystal's embrace and love as a friend. When Jinri drifts off to sleep, Krystal doesn't even try to stop the clenching in her heart.

Sulli is a monster. And Sulli is killing Jinri.
