"Hon, I think I want to rest." Key riddled with fatigue, reached his wrinkled hands to the wheelchair beside his.

"Babe, we just woke up but if you want to, then we can rest together." Jonghyun motioned their private nurses over and both wheeled them to his'and Key's shared bed.

When the nurses finally tucked them in, Key closed his eyes, inhaling the scent of his lover of fifty years. "Hon, remember when we first met?" he whispered.

"Yeah, you were pretty cute then but not as beautiful as now. From that first moment, you took hold of my heart till now." Jonghyun responded.

"And you were so annoyingly cute." Key smiled in remembrance.

Jonghyun looked at his lover, marvelling at how beautiful he still is and that even after all these years of being together, his breath still would hitch when Key smiles at him. Even age was not able to corrupt his beautiful Key. Jonghyun tightened his hold and lovingly cradled Key in his arms. "I love you Babe."

"I know." Key looked up to him, his sweetest smile displayed on his lips. "Jjong, I'm tired and I want to rest. We lived a full life and I am so glad I've spent most of it with you. Can I rest now?"

Jonghyun looked Key in the eyes and a knowledge of understanding passed between the two as tears slowly build in his eyes. He kissed Key on the lips for the last time and nodded his head. "Rest now my love and I'll follow soon. Wait for me okay." Hugging Key closer.

          Key gave him a releived tired smile and closed his eyes for the last time. His last memory was of Jonghyun with a smirk on his face before he ran up to the bus stop. Their first kiss. He then felt his body drifed and a great weight was lifted from him. Then everything seems to float around him. He was floating too.

          Jonghyun hitched his breath as he felt his lover's body started to get heavy. He held him tighter and tried controlling the tightness in his throat as the sobs racking his withered body moved up to his throat. He was crying for Key. Happy tears for he would no longer feel pain from arthritis, or the pain of  the stones that are lodged in his kidney and a lot of other complications.

          Crying for himself as he could no longer see his beautiful eyes looking at him, nor feel his warmth when he held him. He would no longer be able to see him smile again or get irritated at his deeds. Never again will he be able to hear Key's laughter that reminds him of chimes when the wind blows. Never again.

          Key, his one and only reason for waking up in the morning, Key, his sun, his moon, his stars. His everything.

"Rest now my love and wait for me." Jongyun closes his eyes as the tightness in his throat starts blocking the passage of air to his lungs. He smiled, he remembered there was his Key, mouth agape as he  kissed him. It was their first kiss. . . . . .
