Kyuhyun was now 20 years old. He finished high school two years ago and ever since then, no even before then, he had to work to help supporting his family. He had a two year older brother and lived with him and their sick mother in a really small apartment.

Ever since his older brother Eunhyuk was rejected from the best Art School in Seoul, he got very aggressive and wasn’t in the mood for anything. The older one was the best dancer that Kyuhyun had ever seen. And it wasn’t just him that saw that, but everyone who ever saw him, said so. Although he had gotten a full stipendium because of his outstanding grades and his amazing talent, Eunhyuk got rejected because some rich family came along and decided to buy their son in. Being poor was never easy. But having to see his dream being snatched away even though he fought hard for it, seemed too unfair to Eunhyuk as that he could ever forgive this family and their son for everything.

This was also the start of the fights between the dancer and the rich family’s son Donghae. Anytime those two were together with their friends or even if it was the two of them and they saw each other, there was a fight with fists. Kyuyhun had been part of these fights before. He didn’t like it at all but it was for his brother that he loved more than anything or anyone in this world. They have had so many rough times before but always got through them because they were together.

That was also the reason why the younger one gave up on his own dream of becoming a singer. The two brothers had a plan of going to the same Art School and then debuting together. But ever since Eunhyuk’s dream was stolen, Kyuyhun felt the responsibility to give up on his dream as well. Just not completely. He couldn’t give up on it completely. That’s why he was always looking for singing jobs and he really found one job in a high class club. Luckily his best friend Henry covered for him because Eunhyuk shouldn’t find out about this or the brothers would also get into a horrible fight.
