The smell of melting cocoa wafted through the EXO-K dorms. The sugar sweet aroma proved powerful enough to wake a few of the late rising members. Sehun literally rolled off the floor and face planted on the hardwood before mindlessly drifting to the kitchen with only his nose to guide him. Suho watched the maknae from the spot on his own bed with mild amusement.

                “Ah,” he sighed. “This is my life from now on.” He shook his head with a chuckle as he reopened his novel. His eyes rolled across the page lazily, drinking in the black lettering. His eyes popped out of his head and his jaw dropped. “N-No! Snape what are you doing?!” He cried. “DUMBLEDORE NO! WHY OH WHY?!”

                Sehun had just reached the doorway when his hyung let out his cry of anguish. The younger boy scoffed.

                “Why is my hyung so weird,” he mumbled. Crashes and yelps resounded from the room opposite of his own but Sehun was not concerned. He should never be concerned with that room. No one should concern themselves with that room. It was just a general consensus you had to live by if you were a member of EXO. Sehun shrugged and trudged into the kitchen. D.O stood by the stove, stirring his concoctions in the little steel pot of his.

                “Good morning Sehun!” He greeted cheerfully. Sehun nodded sleepily. He noticed a tray of chocolates shaped in various ways lying on the table in front of him. He reached to grab one preciously carved into a rabbit when a hand launched out and slapped his own out of the way.

                “What the—” Sehun spluttered.

                “Don’t touch!” Kyungsoo commanded.

                “Okay geez,” The younger grumbled.

                “What smells so good?” Kai asked when he strode into the kitchen, rubbing his eyes blearily.

                “You’re up early.” Sehun noted. It’s not usual Kai woke up on his own. More often than not force would be used to get the boy out of bed. Suho had a foot shaped bruise on his abdomen for the longest time.

                “Chanyeol and Baekhyun woke me up,” he grunted. He pulled up and plopped down in the chair beside Sehun. “Someone should invest in sound proofing their walls.” D.O snorted out a laugh. “They’re always going at it so late at night.”

                “WAH CHANYEOL STOP!” Baekhyun’s voice screeched from his shared room with the happy virus.

                “What’s going on?” D.O asks.

                Kai tsked, “Chanyeol probably wants to go for round two. They’re going to wake up the whole neighbourhood with their thumping around. It’s bad enough Suho hyung’s wailing in despair over something or another.”

                “What’s he sad about this time?” Kyungsoo questioned.

                “HE TRUSTED YOU SNAPE. HE TRUSTED YOU.” Their leader screamed for the fallen wizard.

                D.O blinked his large frog-like eyes, “oh.” The mother of EXO turned back to the stove, watching the colourful liquid swirl in the pot. He felt warmth press into his back and a weight settle on his shoulder. Kyungsoo let out a manly squeak.

                “Whatcha doin’ hyung?” Kai asked. Sehun groaned and left the kitchen muttering about how Suho’s mourning for Dumbledore would be more bearable than what he was about to witness.

                “Making sweets.”

                “What kind of sweet?”

                “I finished the chocolate and hard candy. I’m attempting to make taffy now.” D.O’s hands became clammy at the proximity of Kai’s body. Kai pressed his face into D.O’s neck, making a humming vibration. His toned arms enveloped Kyungsoo’s petit torso possessively. He swayed their hips to a nonexistent beat. Even with how close he was, Kyungsoo couldn’t really hear what Kai was trying to sing. All he could pick up was 'you’re cute, so sweet'. “If the Jung sisters were dead they’d be turning in their graves.” D.O said. Kai scoffed, calling him a mean old mommy.

                “Why didn’t you make gumdrops?” Kai questioned. D.O turned his head to face him.

                “Why? Do you like gumdrops?”

                “I just thought they would’ve been easier.”

                “I can make gumdrops after if you want.”

                “That’s okay. I’ll just eat one of these candies.” Kai detached himself from Kyungsoo and steered towards the little spheres of fruity sweets that Kyungsoo had poured into a bowl. He popped one of the green ones in his mouth.

                Out of the corner of his eye, Kyungsoo could see Kai make a sour face at the candy.

                “W-what? Is something wrong? Does it taste bad?” He panicked. The boy faced him with an impassive expression.

                “I don’t know hyung,” he said. “You tell me.” Kai glided forward and pressed his plump lips to D.O’s own. Kyungsoo, not sure of what to do, rested his hands on Kai’s chest. The younger boy d his hyung’s behind and Kyungsoo gasped at the contact.

                The little sugary candy rolled into his mouth and just for a little cheek, Kai darted his own tongue in. He pulled away, smirking at his hyung. D.O stuttered out nonsense before pausing to spit out the confection that Kai pushed between his lips.

                “Well?” Kai grinned. Kyungsoo used the back of his hand to wipe his mouth.

                “You’re right I should’ve made gumdrops.”

Q: What were Baekyeol doing?

A: Playing video games of course.
